I can't seem to replicate this error. Try starting over with a fresh JAR.
I did happen to figure out what was the issue.
I upgraded worldeditcui from and older version thus I didn't realize how completely different your version is from it. So I manually removed the old one and fixed the errors.
Should put a note in the OP. "Do not upgrade from lahwrans version, must be a fresh install."
true - the only thing that works is //sel cuboid. And that only works half the time. i have to exit/re-enter to get it to actually work to be a command again after each use. Annoying. //desel and //deselect are not even useable commands, so i cant understand why people would false advertise that.
Actually, the //desel command is in worldedit version 5, if your using the one from your SPC download, your using 4.7 - you will have to upgrade to a snapshot of version 5 (because its not releaed yet) if you want the //desel command
//sel cuboid works spot on 100% in WE4.7 your probably misspelling, (untill i got used to it i was typing "//sel cueboid"
Its not false advertising, i would call it premature.

With the latest build of WorldEdit, //sel cuboid is no more used to clear the selection, now it's //sel//desel and //deselect.
And only //sel works if WECui is installed.
By the way, //sel is faster to type, so it's not really bad that we can't type //desel and //deselect. =p
sadly, negative on that - none of the above commands work with both this and world edit v5 installed. - i'm still having to use //sel poly THEN //sel cuboid to clear my (cuboid) selections.
im not saying it is the fault of this mod - probably some err on the side of w.e as it says it does not recognise the command.
the polygon selection display is also not working with w.e. 5 and this :tongue.gif:
dont shoot me
Latest build. That means compiling both WorldEdit and WorldEdit CUI from source.
Works great, except for the deselecting of selections. For now, just type //sel, then //desel and your selection will be cleared, both on-screen, and in WorldEdit. :smile.gif:
Now, can someone please help me with this post? (It's the really long post by me at the bottom.)
I may be failing at this alone but I feel like the directions are not telling the user to put the mod_WorldEditCUI.class file inside the .jar file.
1) Download WorldEditCUI and unzip it. Chances are you've already done that.
2) In the WorldEditCUI-build/WorldEditCUI folder, copy the wecui/ folder and all
of its contents into minecraft.jar. (If you don't know how to do this, there is
a handy guide at Link Removed on how to install mods)
3) In the WorldEditCUI-build folder, copy the WorldEditCUI folder and all its
contents to the .minecraft/mods directory.
4) In the .minecraft/mods directory, delete the following files:
a) mod_WorldEditCUI.class
:cool.gif: the entire wecui/ folder
5) Start Minecraft!
Step 2 has you put the wecui/ folder "and all of its contents" (being all of wecui's contents?) inside the .jar but that's not where that .class file lives. Anyway, I couldn't get this to work until I put that file inside the .jar as well as the wecui/ folder. If it saves someone else the fail, FYI :smile.gif:
EDIT: Something else, I changed my GUI key to "I" (G is already used by another mod) and when I hit G it opens the chat window. I'm not 100% certain it's your mod but you might want to check that.

You have to put the 'WorldEditCUI' folder inside the %appdata%\.minecraft\mods folder, not the .jar file. Simple as that. As for the extra text key ['I', by default], I believe this was intended for debugging purposes, etc. Just clear it or set it to INSERT or a key you never use. Aside from that, works fine!

Yes I put that folder in there. And I changed the GUI key from G to I in the config file ( .minecraft\mods\WorldEditCUI\Configuration.yml ) but G is still causing chat to open.
When I have used wand to select an area, and then used //set to change the material to something else I still got the selection left. And because the selection is there, there is a large blue/red selection box that I can see. Can I remove that? I mean like can I undo the selection or select nothing so it goes away? I don't wanna disable it.
I installed this version of worldeditcui and I'm a getting a conflict with Zombe mod.
Thus error is below.

No... This issue MIGHT be related to WorldEdit CUI... (i can't say it isn't because i have never used Zombe without WECUI installed at the same time) but I had this issue randomly with the the old WECUI as well. And I've had it randomly since. Even when I make absolutely no changes to anything of any kind (besides opening and closing MC) it seems like there is a roughly 1 in 100 chance that Zombe will give the above error. At which point all of Zombe's graphical features (mob safe, mob radar, xray, etc) stop working... usually. At that point restarting Mc will make the error go away but it is necessary to re-install Zombe to fix the graphical problems with it (just zombie... nothing else has to be changed).
In short I strongly suspect this is just a problem with Zombe that has nothing to do with any other mods.
Can anyone else confirm that changing the GUI key to something other than G still leaves G activating the text/chat box? I use G for Zombe fly and perhaps this isn't an issue with this mod but I'm trying to narrow it down. Thanks :smile.gif:

I've change it from G to M because I use G for Zoom in OptiFine. However, pressing G doesnt open up the chat.
Though, you have to go to .minecraft/mods/WorldEditCUI/ and open Configuration.yml and manually change guiKey to the button you want. If you just change it in the Options, it won't change in the end.

Ahhhh-HAH! Yeah, I had edited the configuration file. It was apparently also necessary to set the key to something different in-game (which I thought the file would do).
