When the next version is done and all vanilla mobs are supported, this is going to be interesting. When I reach 300 downloads and 10 likes of the first post I'm going to PM the creators of these mods for permissions. If they agree I'd need a texturer. If somebody here wants to develop textures please PM me.
I will help with textures! Btw everybody vote up the first post because we are at 7 right now and if we get to 10 likes and 300 downloads he will support mods, so that would get us one step closer!

We also beat 300 downloads some days ago. Maybe I should have used an higher target. However I'll make some tries with costum mobs. It's a big difference between spawning an vanilla mob and a modded one. Meanwhile I added a poll to find out what mod should be supported first.

I've finished testing with MoCreatures. The method I use for spawning the animals also works for MoCreatures. So I send a PM to DrZhark. If he gives permissions the development will go on soon.

Adding new mobs does not really belong to CraftableAnimals. Giant zombies are included in the source of Minecraft but don't spawn, so I didn't really add them.
Same with dyed wolves. Colored sheeps are already included. It's a single line of code to make colored sheeps possible. To make dyed wolves I'd need to remove the old one and add a new, dyable one. This would also make a high incompatiblity.

So far I did: Bear, Boar, a lot different BigCats, 6 Birds, 4 Bunnys, Crocodile, 3 Deer, Duck, 6 Dolphins, 10 Fishies and Fox.
They have no recipes jet, but thay have an icon and are placeable.

I've tried adding an EnderCrystal and it seems to work. I'll make a new version, also with some more mobs (not MoCreatures). Maybe I get it done before weekend.
I've released v1.2. It adds the Ender Crystal and make Jockeys possible with Zombies and Zombie Pigman.
Also I have an interesting fact for everybody who reads more than the first post: This mod now has more than 600 recipes! This high number is especially coming from recipes using wool and sheeps (since there are 16 different wool and sheep colors).
Quick question,do you really need the snow golems? They are technically a craftable mob anyways.
It makes the mod complete. It's better to have "all vanilla mobs supported" than "all vanilla mobs except Snow Golem". Also when you craft a Snow Golem and place it while fighting it's faster than build it while fighting.
You can make custom jockeys but not take custom requests? I think you just dont want to deal with all the requests. :sad.gif:

Also I don't think I'm that good in modelling and texturing. I'll let other people do this. I just make them craftable.

Dyed wolves would basicly just be the same thing a as wolf, just re-textured.
Also if you are going to make custom jockeys, i suggest you make a jockey for every hostile mob. and cave spider jockeys. those would be cool. Also a Spider Spider jockey. It is a cave spider on top of a spider :biggrin.gif:
After you have placed them they shouldn´t despawn, so that this mod have a use and you can make your own pig pet, called Jimmy.
Otherwise nice, but the crafting recipes are expensive, so it need a use!
i know you said this ages ago but i had to correct it, in 1.0 animals don't despawn because they are only ment to appear once a chunk is created so this won't be a problem now.
