    Hey, i have McNostalgia and i would like to play the old version of Minecraft. I want the old sounds able to work for the older games so it is more classic, are you able to do that?

    Play in offline mode.

    Nope, not all.
    And that cracking sound was not there, so it's bug.

    What's the point of pack, if it doesn't restore all sounds?

    Good lord the old minecraft was always been like that!
    The cracking sound was always there every time you FELL down or getting HIT!
    Geez it never is a BUG! Don't believe me? Downgrade your minecraft to 1.8.1 or lower and check the sounds in the "damage" folder.
    This pack's got ALL the old sounds.

    I lol'd.

    Here's the list of things that he need to do to make it restore ALL sounds:
    Remove falling sound. It played OOH and step sounds, not ooh and cracking.
    Replace bowhit* sounds with drr
    Remove eating/burp sounds
    Remove tool breaking sound
    Change xporb sound back to item pop, like in 1.8
    Remove lava sounds
    Change enderman sounds back to zombie's (like in 1.8)
    Change silverfish sounds back to spider's (like in 1.8)
    Add calm4.ogg.
    Maybe also remove drinking, but it's not necessary.

    Downgrading jar shows nothing here, as minecraft downloads latest sounds. You need old resources folder.

    Also: Searhing for damage.fall gives this in 1.2.5:
                if (i > 4)
                {
                    worldObj.playSoundAtEntity(this, "damage.fallbig", 1.0F, 1.0F);
                }
                else
                {
                    worldObj.playSoundAtEntity(this, "damage.fallsmall", 1.0F, 1.0F);
                }

    And nothing in 1.7.3.

    Weird, really? :P

    I think the point of this mod is to bring back the old sounds, not to also get rid of the new ones

    It does restore all the sounds. But it doesn't replace new ones. The cracking sound being there isn't a bug.

    Then why it still uses new bowhit sound instead of drr?

    I understand your position, but it really feels weird.

    I have no idea. I need to check that. I never noticed, thanks for bringing that to my attention... Hmmm...

    Exalm, I know you have been using the sounds in your own mod, and just because I like your mods, I will fix this for you. Lol. I just hope this isn't a case of "My mod is better than yours because this."

    Easy fix, either download an old version of Sound Mod Enabler and follow those instructions, or play in offline mode.
