Some more suggestions:
Ants- the size of spiders, hostile only if you attack them, live in ant hills which are basically giant dirt pyramids, during day go out and take leaves off of trees and take them back to hill, hill full of tunnels and ant spawners, chests with good loot, in the center is the ant queen who drops an ant crown (which when worn causes ants to follow you and do your bidding) and several ant eggs (which can be hatched into ants who will do your bidding even if you're not wearing the crown)
Some kind of gnarled old tree that drops poison apples (have a green shimmer like enchanted items or potions, poison you if eaten, crafted with empty bottle easy way to get potion of poison) instead of apples
I'm trying to install the server version of this on my server so that my friends and I can play in the Twilight Forest. Now, I have Forge downloaded, and I ran it once to make sure it loaded all the files. I put the .zip in the folder, and I got this crash report

Can anyone help me solve this issue? And I am not using Bukkit or Tekkit. I'm using the minecraft_server.jar from the main minecraft website.
I managed to get this mod to run on my friends server but the lag it causes is ridiculous, even when everyone had optifine, it got to the point where we had to ditch this mod entirely, because everyone was getting kicked from lag. And it's a real shame, cause it looks so awesome.
Just started playing the mod through Feed The Beast, and spawned right next to the Nagas lair, the Naga is quite harmless if you have Bronze armor or i guess better from the mod collection.
The naga is the "first" boss of the mod, and actually designed to be managable in iron gear, although with difficulty. Lich is the next, and you want diamond quality, preferably with some enchantments. Hydra is the same deal, although you want the enchants more focused on fire resistances, or to carry a long duration potion of fire resistance or two.
(In regard to a mod that gives realistic animal genetics):
Would you really rather have bees that make diamonds and oil with magical genetic blocks?
... did I really ask that?
I was running the mod on an smp server, and if anyone makes a portal and enters it, then everyone gets kicked, followed by the area around the portal getting glitched out as well as the entire Twilight Forest.
I have:
Twilight Forest
Jammy Furniture
Christmas Craft
Chocobocraft
Portal Gun
Rei's Minimap
Gravity Gun
Touhou's Item
Inventory Tweak
Parachute Mod
Backpack Mod
TImber Mod
This mod is EPIC! I went to the dimension and found some deer and went hunting.
However, I think it would be cool if there were more birds. Ideas : Pheonix - Reddish-orange colored bird; can be tamed, and will fight for you by pecking at your enemies.Neutral, so if you hit it, it starts pecking at you, but if you could possibly if you have a certain sword, it will fly or run away.
Eagle-Flies around and will attack other birds, but not the pheonix. Drops a feather, but sometimes it drops a perfect feather, and you can use it to craft a better arrow. This mob is neutral, and it has long eyesight, so it can detect a bird from 50 blocks away as long as there is nothing in the way.(No blocks)
And now a mob that is not a bird, but can fly. The Pegasus - This is a rare mob only found in the highlands, and you can tame it with perfect feathers. Then you can mount it if you put a saddle on it.
Please consider these ideas, I would really like them to be added into the mod.
I am using Forge. I posted the report from the Crash Reports folder in the .minecraft folder. Is this what you said is worthless? If so, where do I find the Forge log?
I read your previous post. It stated that you unzipped the twilight forest mod then placed it into the mod folder. You cannot unzip that folder, leave as is and place it in your mod folder. I hope you can get this going!
Some more suggestions:
Ants- the size of spiders, hostile only if you attack them, live in ant hills which are basically giant dirt pyramids, during day go out and take leaves off of trees and take them back to hill, hill full of tunnels and ant spawners, chests with good loot, in the center is the ant queen who drops an ant crown (which when worn causes ants to follow you and do your bidding) and several ant eggs (which can be hatched into ants who will do your bidding even if you're not wearing the crown)

hay that a grate idea! i love that ant thing!
but maybe at night huh?
I need advice. I'm running into issues, that I suspect is one of the following:
1. A mod interaction issue,
2. A strange mod config interaction issue, or
3. A bleeped up world save.
My test plan is simple: Start with a brand new world, default configs, and add in the mods one at a time. Simple, no?
Well, time consuming. Have a test plan written out, and I hope it won't take more than 3-5 minutes per test cycle in-game, plus the time to cycle in and out each test.
The expectation is that either something will fail (rules out case #3), or everything will work (rules out case #1); eliminating case #2 comes by changing configs one at a time back to my old config.
I don't think it's a bad plan. Time consuming, yes. Error prone, yes. Great plan? No.
Here's my requests for advice:
1. Suggested test order. Suggested order of putting the mods into the game.
2. Got a better plan?
I do not know why ChickenCore and NEI did not show up. Yes, they are core mods, but so is Treecapitator.
The symptoms I'm having:
1. Client and server disagree on survival or creative after logging in or changing dimensions. Includes taking damage while displaying creative, or "instant break" but unable to move through that spot.
2. Multimine is a complete fail. Never stores the partial breaking on any block.
3. Treecap only takes down the tree about 33% of the time, and has a strange "Block broke, but is still there" behavior for a period of time (delay is the extra length that the breaking should have taken per the whole tree hardness value).
Basically, there seems to be a client/server sync error. I've verified that all the mods and forges are the same version on both.
I *have* had these working in the past. Treecap version 2 (instead of version 5), no Chickenbones mods, no dimensional anchors/Immibis core, and a much earlier forge.
Since I'm hitting this in about 2 hours, what are recommendations on testing order? My initial thought is
Multimine
Treecap (test interactions)
EBXL (test large mod trees)
TF (test large mod trees)
Myst
COG (not expected to affect anything)
CC
NEI
Enderstorage
IC
DA
And, does anyone have a better idea than "Start a new world from scratch, add one mod at a time, test tree chopping, block breaking, and dimension traveling each time"?
(Upgrading to 146 is not an option at this time; Mystcraft/COG both need updates for bug fixing and/or working together.)
(The "Must-have" mods: Myst, COG, EBXL, TF. The wants, in order: Multimine, Treecap (can skip), NEI (can use TMI), Ender storage (can use regular enderchests), IC/DA (can do without -- but I want a chunk loader with a turn-off timer built in.)
(In regard to a mod that gives realistic animal genetics):
Would you really rather have bees that make diamonds and oil with magical genetic blocks?
... did I really ask that?
Just a note for the WIP Dark forest: The druids seem to be dropping their hoes at a.... very... high drop chance. I fought 7 of them, and got 7 hoes. They also brought redcaps with them for the fun, though I don't know if they normally spawn in the Darkwood and I haven't seen them before, or you changed where they pop up now in the update.
EDIT: Just saw a spider jockey on the largest Spider I ever saw. I'm presuming these are the King Spiders. King Spider Jockey=terrifying. Even if they get stuck up on branches and have to find large gaps to fit through, their speed is horrifying. I love it.
EDIT 2: I should probably wait to write all of these things in one post instead of editing this one every five minutes or so. But are the ambient fireflies supposed to give off light, or is their personal glow more to confuse and distract you in the darkness of the Darkwood?
Ants- the size of spiders, hostile only if you attack them, live in ant hills which are basically giant dirt pyramids, during day go out and take leaves off of trees and take them back to hill, hill full of tunnels and ant spawners, chests with good loot, in the center is the ant queen who drops an ant crown (which when worn causes ants to follow you and do your bidding) and several ant eggs (which can be hatched into ants who will do your bidding even if you're not wearing the crown)
Some kind of gnarled old tree that drops poison apples (have a green shimmer like enchanted items or potions, poison you if eaten, crafted with empty bottle easy way to get potion of poison) instead of apples
and please please please answer... thank u

Just to do level 1 tech support:
You have forge 480 installed in the jar file, and this mod installed in the mods folder, right?
This mod must go into the mods folder.
Forge later than 480 appears to have issues.
