What are crumblehorns, obsidian monoliths, redcap sappers, mushglooms, and fiddleheads? They're in the change log, but I can't find them anywhere else on the wiki.
Hey Benimatic, just wanted you to be aware of a current and interesting bug which has arisen with the recently updated "Biomes O' Plenty" mod. We've been noticing biomes and terrain in the overworld generating twilight forest trees, such as canopy trees or Twilight Oaks or rainbow oaks, etc etc. Sometimes it just seems to full on generate an entire biome, but under the label of another biome added by Biomes O Plenty. Also the Skeletal Druid houses, and ruins generate in the overworld with them. No lich towers, naga mazes, hydra dens, and the like, but pretty much everything else generates (Fire Swamps and giant mushrooms included).
I'm confident this is something with BoP's generation that wonks it up, but wanted you to be aware of the situation in case others come here with it. These biomes are like a hybrid between the intended and twilight forest, so it is actually cool sometimes what it creates, but then defeats the purpose, for me, of going to the Twilight Forest to catch this feeling of entering a foreign dimension.
Note, I have individually made all biomes from Biomes O Plenty from IDs 254-190. Twilight Forest is at its default in the double digits somewhere.

Hmm ... I can't find the obsidian monoliths on the wiki, but you'll see them in game.
Ditto for the mushglows -- they give off light level 3, can be planted on dirt at least, grass I think, stone I'm pretty sure was a fail.
(In regard to a mod that gives realistic animal genetics):
Would you really rather have bees that make diamonds and oil with magical genetic blocks?
... did I really ask that?

I have a question about using this mod on a multiplayer server. Is the Twilight Forest a shared dimension like the Nether or The End? Or does everyone that makes a portal have their own separate world file? I would like to know if I should be mindful of other potential miners. o:
I feel like I should already know the answer to this, but apparently I don't...If I have a world from before the Dark Forest biome was added, and I then update to the current Twilight Forest version, is there a chance of the Dark Forest spawning in the existing world, or will I need to create an entirely new world?
Fiddleheads are a grass kind of block, that only appears (as far as I have seen) in the Enchanted Forest. Benimatic said he might have plans in the distant future for using it in a soup or a craftable item, but that's as far as I know.

Thanks. I saw something called a "redcap sapper" that seemed to be different from a redcap goblin though...not really sure if it's the same or not.

Like all dimensions, everyone shares the same forest.
Heheheheheh... Bad luck: the portal spwaned me right in the middle of a naga den(?). Lucky I wasn't to dumb enough to stick around.
Btw: is there any block that the Naga can't break?
The X/Z co-ordinates will be the same, or close, on both sides of the portals.
Major features are currently always at multiples of 256. So just by making sure you are not, you can avoid landing in them.
As for what it cannot break: ???
Maybe bedrock?
Maybe obsidian?
Haven't tried white decay ... :-)
Hmm, if it could break white decay, and if I could figure out how to import it into another world ... can you push them through a crystal portal?

Besides from the aether, this is the best mod ever. It's not too easy, as it keeps you in shape with terrifying bosses (there terrifying to me, ok :P) and does contain any complex machinery. Keep it coming

I don't know enough about this mod to make a full assumption about the white decay. But I thought it was funny that the portal spawned in a boss area.
I am new to this mod. Looks very very nice.
But I have a problem with the magic map. It stays blank when rightclicking it?
Any idea , any help ?
I didn't see any answer to this. I have been using this mod for a while. The new update, When I craft a magic map it stays blank in overworld and in TF. Any suggestions?

This may sound like a stupid request, and I will claim guilt in the 'I didn't read the whole thread so I don't know if this has been suggested/requested before'. But is there any way you could work in configurable gates and the option to have it only open during certain times? (Twilight/Dusk and certain moon phases?).
My only complaint with most of these otherwise mindblowing mods is the lack of ability to customize the requirements for entry.

prior question didnt get a response so here goes again.
can i change the color associated with ores on the maze/ore map, and if so, how do i do it?
gold appears green, all non-vanilla ores show up as grey blocks not too different from stone. i would like some IC2 ores to show up better- mainly iridium, ruby, few others.
In addition to that, can /any/ of the TwiFor passives breed? I'd like to farm some deer, instead of cows.
As far as I know, you can breed penguins with wheat for sure. I would assume you can use wheat for the deer and hogs too as well as the bighorns. You might want to try carrots on the hogs. Remember, they're mostly just counterparts to the overworld mobs.

I will try out obsidian and see if it works.
Update:The Naga breaks Obsidian...
Well i will just put it onto my private one then.

Do or do not. There is no try.
