Same texture as before, but door functions.
wow, thats some exhaustive testing....
That obvious texture that says "SRM" on it is the new BAS texture. AS in.. if the camo fails or something, thats what will show up. It is also the texture that will show up when you run the "/srm-show" or "/show" commands.
about the gates.. I fixed that last night, But I havent pushed the changes or made build for that yet. I will later today.
about the doors.. yeah.. hats the last thing thats been having issues....
Sorry if this has already been mentioned, but would it be possible to add in a helmet enchantment that allows you to see through the blocks that you can walk through?
Or a craftable helmet that can see through them, but loses durability the longer you wear it
Or even a helmet that can see through them but needs to be charged some how?
I know it kinda defeats the point of having traps to be able to see through them, but if they lose durability/charge quickly and is hard to craft, it would even it out quite a bit

I second this idea, or perhaps instead of durability, it burns through hunger (or even health!) at an insane rate like 1 heat/meat per second (Personally I'd make it eat away at their health since a stack of food would provide quite a long time for viewing invisible doors/etc...)
Also, on that note, perhaps the opposite of a cammo block - an invisible one, paired with the helmet this could make for a very tricky puzzle (line the "Legend of Zelda" levels using the Lens of Truth)
This is one of my favorite mods, if you didnt guess, I'm big on making "adventure maps" or "dungeons" (often leading to a rare, fun, and uncraftable item)

Placed camo pressure plate, worked fine
placed camo player plate, worked fine
placed camo button, worked fine
placed camo redstone, worked fine
Placed camo wooden door, worked --- BUT after several open/close actions the bottom block reverted to the SRM texture if opened/closed multiple times quickly
---further testing indicates any time the door is opened with a lever/pressure plate/etc the lower block immediately reverts
Placed camo iron door, worked, but IMMEDIATLY the bottom block reverted to the SRM texture
---see not on wooden door, could be the same bug (since there's no way to activate a iron door without levers, etc I cant test it)
Also, dont know if a bug or intended, but the doors take the texture of the block UNDER then not around (placed bookshelves around door, dirt under, door looked like dirt, placed sponge under, looked like sponge, etc --- NOT an issue with other camo blocks, they all took the bookshelf texture)
placed camo trapdoor --- worked fine with normal blocks, but when used with camo redstone, door breaks and falls as an item.
Camo-gate still not working, can jump over, cannot interact with (does camo fine though)
Camo-chest can be placed and hides, but produces a "dissconnected by server" when attempted to open OR destroy

Doors have been fixed.
Chests are working as well, but you have a version mismatch between the server and and the client.
When placing camo-redstone immediatly behind a repeater then applying a current, the current becomes permanent.
i.e. Pressureplate ----[camoredstone][repeater]--- (--- is redstone dust)
When I step on the pressure plate, the redstone dust activates, the repeater activates, and the second dust activates
when I step OFF the plate, the dust deactivates, but the repeater and second dust remain active.
bug only occurs when cammo redstone directly powers a repeaterEDIT:
Ok, the redstone issue I mentioned above still exists, and randomly occurs even when no repeater is involved, also occurs ALWAYS when an inverter (I think --- redstone torch on a block to make "on" signals "off" and vice-versa) is connected, even with normal redstone in between the two
The chests work again
Cammo gate is working great but (and I think this is semi-intentional) if there is a hole under it with a torch in it, you get the block directly above it as transparent with a flat torch on the sides... if I understand correctly, that's functioning as intended, but it's kinda wierd...
Lastly... doors...
Placing the doors causes a client crash "Disconnected from server" with the following server info:

when I log back in the top half of the door has the "SRM" texture, and the bottom half is camo'd, otherwise works fine (redstone does not change the bottom into "SRM" texture now)
ok.. everything should work now.. with some new.. better features
ive added the weighted pressure plates to the array of camo things I have.. youl need to clean your configs. They are crafetd the same way the other pressure plat6es, but with th new pressure plates ofcourse. Same for the CamoTrappedChest
though a suggestion: Hidden pistons (somone else already suggested this, but I'm second'ing it) I use a lot of "retracting bars" and those green-and-brown piston "floors" look horrible >.<

Same thing for me, please!
Oh - and when you are at it, why not make pistons which push 2 or 3 blocks far instead of only one block?
Recipes suggestion: Add a redstone and 3 wood for each step added.

I want to test this out too, but I'm not sure which to download. There are several links on the first page, but I don't want to download the wrong one. Which one is for 1.5.1?

Oops.
When I step on the pressure plate, the redstone dust activates, the repeater activates, and the second dust activates
when I step OFF the plate, the dust deactivates, but the repeater and second dust remain active.
bug only occurs when cammo redstone directly powers a repeaterEDIT:
odd, I'd have sworn I used the same file... oh well, I'll update and re-test!
[WARNING] Failed to handle packet for AshtonDurkhun/127.0.0.1: java.lang.RuntimeException: You cannot send a bare packet without a target on the server!

when I log back in the top half of the door has the "SRM" texture, and the bottom half is camo'd, otherwise works fine (redstone does not change the bottom into "SRM" texture now)
ive added the weighted pressure plates to the array of camo things I have.. youl need to clean your configs.
Mod already exists, but hasn't been updated yet:

from the last page it seems there are plans to update to 1.5.1 but the Moder's last post was in Feb, so.......
Oops.
They are currently testing it. As you can see above.
Yes I know. I want to test it too. Which link do I use?
Oops.

Despite having this for my config:
