1)Download Forge (Installer)
3)Run Minecraft / Minecraft Server once to let Forge create some folders and close it after it has started.
4)Download this Super Mario Mod
5)Drag the zip/jar folder into the "mods" folder
6)Start the Minecraft launcher and choose the "Forge" profile
8)If necessary you can change the Block- and Item-IDs in the config file.
8b)If you already used an old version of this mod you need to delete the old config file (.minecraft/config/mario.cfg).

Used to build pipes.
The entrance of a pipe. You can set a channel by rightclicking it. If you sneak on this block, you get teleported to another pipe with the same channel.
A trampoline. If you step on it you jump really high.
The flagpole. Touch it and enjoy a great sound effect.
A beanstalk. Put it in ?-Blocks and let it grow.

They all can be harvested with a hammer, and only with a hammer!
Ivory tools are not very strong, but they have got a long durability. Exspecially the Ivory Hoe is very useful.
To get Ivory, just craft 4 Goomba Fangs.
Hammers are the only tools, which can harvest the Super Mario Blocks. You build a level and did something wrong? Take out your hammer!
A Super Mushroom heals 5 hearts.
A 1-Up-Mushroom heals 10 hearts!
You can shoot fireballs with a Fireflower, like ghasts do it.
You can throw a Bob-Omb and ... BOOM!
The Starman turns off all damage for about 30 seconds and allows you to kill mobs instantly by touching them.
The POW-Block produces an earthquake, that moves nearby enemies upwards and damages them a lot.
You can get coins by smelting gold ingots or by mining ?-Blocks.
(It doesn´t matter where you put the coins)
5 * 1 Coin = 5 Coins
4 * 5 Coins = 20 Coins
5 * 20 Coins = 100 Coins -> 1-Up-Mushroom!
Break blocks by jumping. (Requires red wool in the latest version)
Higher jumping, no fall damage, faster moving
This is a Goomba. By killing him, you can get 0-3 Goomba Fangs. A Goomba is not very strong.
This is a Koopa. A Koopa drops 0-3 Shells, when killed. Koopas are good fighters.
This is a Boo, another of the original Mario mobs.
A Bob-Omb is very similar to a creeper. It can explode, but you only need one hit to turn a Bob-Omb into the item.
This is a Bullet Bill. Be careful: It is incredibly fast and explodes on contact with you.
A Cheep-Cheep. It isn´t aggressive, but it deals a bit damage on contact.
A Toad is a passive mob. You can gift him coins to get items or jump on it´s head to jump higher.
A Hammer Bro is an aggressive mob which throws hammers to kill you. Be careful!
This is Bowser! He spawns if you enter a castle. He spits fire and occasionally throws tons of hammers. Very dangerous and hard to kill. Reward: A starman.
A Beetle. Very similar to a goomba, but with less damage and more health.
This is Yoshi. You can ride him and double-jump. If you press a special key (CTRL by default) you can eat enemies.
This is Lakitu. He flies around and throws Spinys sometimes.
This is a Spiny. Jumping onto him with Mario's boots won't kill him, but you will take damage instead.
?-Blocks and Castles are generated at random in the world. ?-Blocks can drop a random item. After that they are empty and can be filled with items of your choice (Only items from this mod). The castles have no special function, yet.
This is how a shell looks, when you throw it. It does damage and can be re-collected by rightclicking.

I personally also would rather see a bob-omb as a mob (like a smaller creeper) than as an item, even though throwable explosives are fun and all.
Great work though, and I'm looking forward to upcoming updates!

Rubber: Ok this one i dont quite understand because I never knew goombas dropped rubber little lone being in a mario game. Shouldn't they drop goomba fangs or something? And anyway, arnt rubber tools a bit unrealistic? Like i get the shovel but a pickaxe? Seriously? And also does this mean i can upgrade from wood (and leather) without touching any stone?
Hammer: What does it even do?
Koopa Shells: I like the idea of making armour out of them.

Items: Perfect! But shouldn't bob-ombs be enemies? And shouldn't Mushrooms be called Super Mushrooms?
