I'm experiencing a problem with the 1.7.10 version that I never noticed before.
If a player is chopping down a Jungle Tree at the base, they can start on 1 block, then switch to a vine and break it, and then return to the original wood block they were working on, and it breaks instantly.
This becomes especially noticeable when used in conjunction with mods that extend the BreakSpeed of tree blocks depending on the size of the tree (number of blocks in the tree). A large Jungle Tree could take 60 seconds to chop down normally, but with the "switch trick" it makes the tree-felling process almost instant.
The problem isn't specific to log blocks, or vines. It can be replicated using any two blocks (same or different blocktype) as far as I can tell. All the player needs to do is jockey between breaking two blocks, and the first block breaks very quickly.
Maybe a clue as to what's happening, maybe not, but the moment the vine breaks, you can hear the log "pop" sound and see the particles fly from the log block that was originally being picked, even though it doesn't disappear until the player begins to chop at it again.
Unsure if you check your Curse comments section often, so I'll put this here too:
You dont have an issue tracker so I'll put this here.
MultiMine is breaking the Tinkers Construct Lumber Axe. It simply breaks the block, doesn't drop it and leaves an empty space. It also causes a weird desync, placing a block in the empty space makes it revert to wood.
I'm coming across a pretty significant issue with the 1.7.10 version of MultiMine. Apparently, the process of mining a block will continue if you switch blocks while holding down the button, resulting in a player mining something they shouldn't, just by mining what's next to it and switching. By rapidly switching back and forth between two blocks, you can mine something that shouldn't be mined simply by having it next to something you can.
Just for reference, this is an unenchanted gold pickaxe mining bedrock.
Do explosions that do not completely destroy a block progress its mining value and leave it cracked? Also, is there a way to configure the cooldown time or max # of affected blocks? So that, say on a pvp server, you can use multiple tnts to break through obsidian froma tnt cannon, etc?
When I add Multi Mine to my 1.7.10 pack, leaves start dropping an insane amount of experience. I cleared the top of a tree of its leaves, and went from level 1 to level 14, from something like 8-10 leaves. This was a brand new world. I removed Multi Mine, and leaves no longer drop experience in that same world, nor in new worlds.
