Maybe, to spice up generation ask xxTriggerxx if you can use some of his small house designs(for the small destroyed houses, right now there isn't much variety) Also you could maybe modify the mineshaft code to ALSO include above ground high ways or roads(obsidian with clean stone, basic road design) This would add more spectacle to the desolateness wastelands. Another one, I have not been able to find water anywhere is this on purpose or implemented. Maybe adding water with a different texture(e.g. like swamp colored water) To show that is contaminated. Then maybe with a slight change to the cauldron code (or a new block all together!) You would use to decontaminate it( This would take, I don't know 5-8 mine craft days.) Plants can not grow with irradiated water.
I just found a house with a bucket of water
I can very easily now fish as much as i want :biggrin.gif:
the second problem is looking for trees and making a bed without sheeps (which is like 20 robo spiders)
Wow guys, I thought Wasteland had died, turned out it just needed a little push.
Expect some screenshots as I work on Bukkit, most of them will just be pictures that I find hilarious because I screwed something up probably :biggrin.gif:
ADF.LY says I've had about 700 downloads today and 17,000 overall(for the entire mod).
Here's a thing I am trying to do: I am trying to build a pack of mods for my personal amusement, to create a desolated world game for me to play (and most likely record as well). Using Wasteland with a firearm mod is a logical thing, but to add some sense of achievment, I tried to test it with a mod that oposes it.
So, I tested Wasteland together with... Twilight Forest. And it worked... too well.
Wasteland removes the grass even from the Twilight Forest, but not entirely. So, it is possible to have both worlds - one lost, and another with some hope for both. If a "Silk Touch" shovel is still possible, one can save the Wasteland with the help of the Twilight.
Now, anyone knows a good mob mod that might fit a Wasteland adventure?

Some people like a house on a hill. Others like a house in a hill.
My computer has been fried and refuses to start(I am on my craptastic old laptop right now).
It's a shame because I had JUST managed to get Eclipse to compile to the Bukkit Jar (had a bunch of errors everywhere).
So... I guess we're stuck? Until I manage to fix my computer?
On a brighter note, 1200 downloads in 1.5 days, probably the most I've ever gotten(I'm contributing it to ipodmail's video and also just the fact I left it alone for so long). Brings the total to over 18,000!
---
So because of the computer frying I have to push Bukkit back, however, I'll be trying to do some base coding on this machine.
I'm so excited this is updated, I'd like to try this out with BTW but I was wondering...do wolves spawn? Because despite the premise of the mod you do eventually need a wolf to move up in the tech tree. And what about grass, I know you can find it in an oasis and you do need it for the mod as well but won't it spread all over the place?

I made this texture pack especially for this mod.
Please try it out sometime! :smile.gif:
this mod looks AMAZING!!!!! ill try it now!
Survival / Hardcore / Creative / Wasteland
That would be great, I like grass too much to install this if it's impacting on all my worlds.

Also, I fully support:
