I recently got banned from a server because apparently the admins thought I was duping the wireless trackers and placing them on people.
Can you try replicating a crash server by either:
1. Using 1 in the frequenecy wireless tracker and placing multiples of the 1 frequency on peoples feet.
2. Spawning or using ftb direwolf20 pack /home with trackers placed on you.
Heres what apparently happened.
I was in spawn placing trackers on people and for some reason they were duplicating and caused someone to lag and eventually crash the server.Even after being dipped in lava tons of trackers came off.
Heyho
I have two little Problems.
I want to use your Wireless Redstone on a Frame construction and a frame motor from Red Power two mod.
But everytime i moved the Wireless Redstone block he lose the connection. I cant trigger the block anymore, i have to break the block and replace it.
The second prob is, i tried to fix the first prob by installing Wireless Redstone chicken bones edition, but i get the massege "Dublicate ID: Wireless Receiver". But its NOT the nomerous ID, i think its more the Name of the block which is dublicete.
Wireless Redstone does not deal well with it being moved. This is why moving it with the piston was disabled.
It's probably possible to make it deal with it, but it was never a priority.
If this is something people want; make a request with SlimeVoid.
Everyone's begging for this mod to be updated to 1.5.2, but as a modder I know how hard it is to keep up with Mojang's constant updates, but there's about 2 or 3 ways to do wireless redstone without mods. Command blocks, glass pane/iron bars hitbox update, etc, etc.
The opensource code from Slimevoid compiles without a single error for forge 7.7.1-662 btw: Here is a link to the compiled jar that runs on 1.5.1 without problems http://minecraft.iro...one-1.7.0-3.jar
PS: Check it on virustotal or yourself if you do not trust me.
Pro tip: Don't tell people to check it with a virus scanner if they don't trust you. It will make them not trust you off the bat. xD

It's been out for 1.5.2 for weeks if not months.
SlimeVoid is managing it, so that's the place to look.
And we're all aware that there are alternative methods. That's not really the point. The point is that this mod is designed specifically to do wireless redstone, easily, reliably and instantly. Nobody benefits from a monopoly on a solution.
Personally; I would wish Mojang would do something better than command blocks (lets face it; they are kinda terrible) and glitch exploit glass panes. But... you know... if wishes were fishes; we'd be able to walk on the sea.

So slimevoid hasn't updated it since they pushed it to 1.5.2. Nothing they did or added is really documented in anyway. There is still no official thread for the slime void version. There website has no info on it. the github hasn't been touched in about a month or so and that is a fork. They are hardly active anywhere. And since I don't see any stuff popping up for it on the forums I am guessing even if someone got the source they cannot get slime voids permission to modify and distribute their own version. This mod seems to have died/gone the way of purely mc version releases with a very inactive dev.
Sorry if it seems rude but this seems to be a absolute terrible choice in picks for someone taking over the mod. My experience with slime void to date ranks them at a 0 for dev quality and I cannot wait for someone to create an updated alternative so that no one has to rely on slime void.
Just for your information SlimeVoid (i.e. myself) have been developing this project since MC 1.26, when I first ported it to Forge. Without my heavy involvement it's likely that Ali would have laid this mod to rest along time ago.
It's appreciated if you don't flame unnecessarily.
N.B. the update cycle of Wireless Redstone is dependant upon a stable release of Forge.
Many thanks.
And if there is a bug? Who is going to respond to it? I have thus far seen a few major bugs mentioned across the forums here and the tekkit forums on different mod's pages. Which leaves me extremely wary to put it to the test on my server.
The problem is 1. I cannot trust that it is bug free and 2. I cannot trust that it will be fixed anytime relatively soon.
Ok so you are doing what? Keeping it alive.
Flame? Call it that if you want to make yourself feel better. I am simply stating my opinion about a dev and dev team that does not seem to have communication skills or even really care about the mods they work on.
The fact that this thread is still outdated and there is no new thread the vibe that you don't care if anyone even can find the updated version shines pretty well.
Simply put my view of you guys are that you are either to busy to be doing what you are or to lazy to do anything right.
I would much prefer to see this project released open source to the wind so that the community actually is on the winning side instead of a mod constantly left in limbo.

This paragraph made me laugh pretty hard. And by laugh, I mean on the inside with a stone face obviously. It is the internet after all.
You do realize this project has been open source since day one, right? And I do not see you, or anyone else, picking up the sword. Do you know why? Because of posts like yours.
Eurymachus, while I appreciate the fact that you did a lot of the original work, you do need to be aware that your website and communication of the mod are lacking. I can point you to lots of chatter around the modding community, most of them unhappy with how you are handling the mod. The fact that there are no bugs doesn't mean you shouldn't have taken the time to do at least some basic documentation. Your website is disjointed, confusing and not very user friendly. I see posts from people for the last several months asking questions and unless you PM'd the answer back no one seemed to want to take the time to respond.
I am not suggesting your mod isn't any good. I use it and it works. It does seem like you are happy with just a functional mod and don't appear to be trying to make it better, but who knows. I don't see anything that talks about future mod development on your site so I don't know if you just plan on keeping it updated to work or not. Again, not trying to slam you, but you won't get better if no one tells you when you wrong.
Trying to download latest version and the website slimevoid.net is down Any chance there is a backup link? a dropbox or something? ThanksNevermind its back up lol
Ok checked out the mod and its pretty cool but I have a suggestion/request.. I would love to see rednet cable support. IE its like bundled cables... If you could make rednet wireless... Then this would would become seriously useful. As it is right now its cool it just could be amazing with rednet api intergration.
I liked the mod when I had it a few versions ago and i would like to see a update to 1.6.1 soon because it greatly reduces the amount of lag and space required to build my circuits along with making it easier. Thanks for not letting the mod die.
Okay, I'm pretty sure this is a problem with FML, sorry for bothering you. Don't mean to be annoying, but the issue still has not been fixed! (Sorry about the image size, I'll fix it later)
(Image removed due to the fact that this shouldn't even be here.) (Edited for more detail...)
The path that the installer is looking for still has a slash missing!! It should have one between the name of the user's home folder and "Library".
Oh, also it should be looking for Application Support/minecraft, not Application Support/.minecraft.
The . part is only on windows.
If there's a way to edit the installer code myself to fix this, please let me know what file inside the .jar to edit and how, thanks! I'd like to get it fixed A.S.A.P.!
(If this is a problem with forge, and not the installer, that would explain why I can't find anything about the path in the files for the installer. It would also explain why mods break Minecraft on my mac, even when I delete META-INF properly) I'm gonna post this on the thread for FML. Can anyone tell me where that is? Never mind, I'll find it myself.
Either your website takes forever to register that it has been updated or you didn't actually upload the update cause its still 1.5.2 version on your site and the forum post.
http://slimevoid.net/wireless-redstone/
Frequency wireless tracker? I dunno what that is.
I don't know. You'll have to ask the guys over at SlimeVoid.
It's because it can't access the version file. As it says; make sure you have a legal working copy.

Thats the Wireless Redstone Chiken Bones edition. its totaly difrent from this one . Talk to chiken bones , he is the owner of the version o Wireless redstone you're using ( http://www.minecraftforum.net/topic/909223-147152-smp-chickenbones-mods/ )
Look in your .minecraft folder.
SlimeVoid holds the license.
And the license is the GNU LGPL, so you do not need permission to use it in a modpack.
