well updating of the mod is still in progress + i intend to keep spitfire4466 current request of no more rolling stock models will be accepted until further notice.
though thank you for small contribution,however it will be shelved for the moment since con currently the restructuring of the code was just completed.

This mod is SWEET, since ive been using it offline, it has alot of mods that will work with it at the 1.3 vesrion, so KUDOS to those that made the code so adaptable to other mods.

The restructuring is almost complete. The rewrite of many places... is not near completion. Also, we will have to finish a few features that weren't fully implemented into the mod before spitfire stopped developing.

Stopping by to offer words of encouragement to the development team currently trying to fix this mod up. Keep up the great attitude guys. I have two kids that pester me every now and then wanting to know if it is done yet. So i almost know how it is to have constant barrages of the same questions over and over.
With the mods stabilizing at 1.45, I am re-launching my server. So, in preparation I am making the necessary requests for permission to include the mods in a modpack for private, non-commercial distribution to the server members. I will be including a credits file in the pack acknowledging the hard work of the mod authors and giving links back to this thread.

Will you guys be animating the side rods on the steam engines? I'm thinking there will be a bit of performance hit, if you do. This mod has come a very long way, solving problems I didn't think they'd ever surmount. Gratz to everyone involved, and I am looking forward to seeing it work for the latest version... unless they start doing the new version dance again.

Now before anyone else freaks out and pulls the bandwagon they-don't-have-the-rights card, just about everything they use they now have the rights for. Anything else they doesn't specifically the permission for the mod author doesn't care if people use it in a pack or not. The only reason they originally didn't have the rights is because it was never intended to be a public mod. You can thank the Yogscast for it becoming public.

Now that tekkit has 98% permission for ALL modders(yes it is true, i read a VERY long post by one of the MAKERs of FTB explaining that he went to all of the modders to set it straight), why can't it be in both? IC2 is in both. RP2(when it finally comes out lol) will be in both. Buildcraft is in both. Why not traincraft? While i do PREFER(PREFER, not I HATE TEKKIT FOR LIFE) FTB(because it isn't an OVERLOAD of mods, and there isn't the highly annoying wind sound high up in the sky), i wouldn't not use tekkit. Me and my friend have a private server that IS tekkit. There ARE parts of tekkit i like better too, like Somnia, and that SPHAX Pure BD is out the the whole pack. Thus why not get the best of both worlds and have traincraft in BOTH. Is there a new rule that it can't? Cause a LOT of mods are already breaking the rule!

i put it in mods folder
i deleted META-INF
Check out my mod, TaleCraft!
Even then, it wasn't a fully functional mod. They are working to make the crafting and such work(it did not work in 1.2.5 version or in 1.3.2 version)
