you should make it that people who have already donated for capes, before you added customization, to be able to update the look of there capes, because otherwise it's unfare in a way ,that these people can't experience this new update
Ive been a user of optifine since 1.2 and i really enjoy it though, in 1.4.5 and 1.4.6 it has been crashing in SSP any solution?
In general, OptiFine under 1.4.x seems to be the buggiest release yet. Lots of folks having a lot of problems and lower FPS. I am not sure what Mojang did under the hood between 1.3 and 1.4, but it seems less friendly for OptiFine.
So I just turned Optifine off to test if an issue remained or not and it has gone now so I think it may be Optifine causing it. But on every single server I have been on so far with Optifine installed I have been having an issue were the world has been flickering in chunks when someone updates something such as opening a door or placing a block.
Optifine does not seem to be loading the config for FPS Cap. Running version "OptiFine HD D8 Ultra" with Forge 488. Changing FPS Cap in options modifies the optifine options file right. However when you start up minecraft it changes the config back to 5 FPS Cap. It is happening with all the users on my teamspeak server currently. (7 People)
What is the relevant line in optionsof.txt, so perhaps we could add it manually?
I've done a little bit more testing:
The appropriate option in optionsof.txt is called "ofLimitFramerateFine". Setting it in Minecraft to any value besides VSync and MaxFPS seems to work (i.e. 60 FPS sets ofLimitFramerateFine:60). Either VSync or MaxFPS set ofLimitFramerateFine to zero, which can't be right since they are two different settings. With ofLimitFramerateFine:0, FPS resets to 5 on starting Minecraft.
