could you add CIT and update the CTM in Optifine as it's still out of date
MCPatcher has added new stuff to these and I would appreciate if would added these
the reason I ask is because am one of the managers of Dokucraft and I work on the Creative pack we have which adds over 2000 extra blocks to Minecraft. but with Optifine some of these extra blocks don't work right
...
also if you could add the ability to pick block these extra metadata block that would be amazing as the only way u can get these extra blocks is by use the creative pack plugin or would edit so have this by default would be great
...

What kind of performance boost Optifine B1 provides? Higher amount of FPS, more stable amount of FPS, less stuttering...?
Also B1 seems to randomly crash when I play. No other mods installed.

Funny, Minecraft runs fine when I play it with optifine, the Latest version.
Disabled as in walking 4000 blocks at night and seeing no hostile mobs. Because I'm having that problem in normal unmoded minecraft.
Me too. Just played for about 2 hours and didn't see one mob. However I went to my blaze farm and the spawner was spawning mobs. After that I went to the end to kill the dragon and there were plenty of endermen. I went back to the overworld after killing the dragon and again, not one zombie or creeper... or skelly. I don't know. It happened before too and then fixed itself. But that was way before I had optifine installed.

It is taking a while for sp614x to update, because 1.) There aren't stable builds of forge/ MCP out yet, because 2.) Mojang changed quite a bit of code, making a mess for modders to wade through.

1.7.4's major feature is Twitch streaming, besides that - it's only bugfixes and minor changes. Also there's a first (or second to be precise) snapshot of 1.8 update. I don't see any sense of making OptiFine for 1.7.4 right now. Maybe when Optifine will be completely done, sp614 will make a port for 1.7.4 but that's up to him, not me

Also how can I use 1.7.2 B1 with Magic Launcher? Every time I try to launch Optifine it launches regular Minecraft instead.

Curse PremiumJeb cares less about the modding community. Not everyone uses mods. Some people just don't seem to get that.
Same here kinda with B1
1.7.4's major feature is Twitch streaming, besides that - it's only bugfixes and minor changes. Also there's a first (or second to be precise) snapshot of 1.8 update. I don't see any sense of making OptiFine for 1.7.4 right now. Maybe when Optifine will be completely done, sp614 will make a port for 1.7.4 but that's up to him, not me

Also how can I use 1.7.2 B1 with Magic Launcher? Every time I try to launch Optifine it launches regular Minecraft instead.
