I am getting a bug where my Minecraft will completely freeze and not respond, which is pretty regular with my computer, but then it will put me back to original spawn location even though I've reset my spawn (and successfully tested it). All my items in my inventory disappear, they are not on the ground anywhere in my world. No levels or anything, just as if I had died without a bed. I don't get a crash report from this either. The only way I close out of my Minecraft is by going to my task manager and ending the program there. Is anyone else getting a bug like this? I don't know if it's with vanilla Minecraft or this mod (as this is the only mod I have installed).
The OpenGL support in ATI drivers apparently aren't that good. I believe sp614x has mentioned that a few times if I remember correctly. Even if you have the latest video drivers.
In addition to updating your video drivers, make sure the rest of your system drivers are also up to date.
You didn't state which edition of OptiFine you are trying to use. I don't know if that processor is a multi-core processor but I believe the CPU drivers fore multi-core Intel chips also lack some performance compared to AMD processor drivers.
If you are trying to use the multi-core edition of OptiFine, you may want to try the "Smooth" edition instead. Also, if you are trying to use any "AA/AF" edition, that may be at least part of the reason for your performance issues too.
Also, make sure you have both the 32-bit and 64-bit editions of Java installed. The 32-bit edition of Java does not get installed with the 64-bit edition of Java.
While you are at it, you will want to update your LWJGL if you haven't already.
Last thing, you are installing OptiFine LAST aren't you?
My drivers were up to date, as was LWJGL. I was using the multicore version of A7, switched to the smooth version. After installing the 32 bit version of java though, everything works! Thank you for your help!

Thats not a Forge/Optifine clashing error. and you dont have to always run latest Forge. Go do some test trials and see how u got that error
Alriht so, When my world in generating, random places in square shapes will flash white or show an Xray view. I know this is not normal.

TheFalcon19, thanks for the answer! But how do I solve the problem, I do not understand. I like that I can optimize this texture pack for optifine? I can use with optifine mcpatcher order to get the correct texture and running the setup menu graphics of the minecraft?
I recently downloaded HD C3 version of the mod and was very pleased with its changes, however I have been facing some compatibility issues with other mods, particularly AtomicStryker's Finder Compass. The compass claims to be compatible with Optifine. What I have been doing is installing the Finder compass first, then running the MC patcher (which the compass requires) but i have been excluding the Patchers settings like HD Textures and HD Fonts that I know conflict with Optifine. Basically the only patcher option I have been selecting is the Finder compass one, in an attempt to avoid any compatibility issues. After this I Installed Optifine by dragging the files into the .jar, booted up the game and found that Optifine was running perfectly, but the compass mod was not working at all, and only the default needle shows.
Despite knowing better, I've tried running the patcher again after Optifine's installation, again with only the Compass Mod selected for patching, to see if that helped. What happened then was that the game would crash aproximatly 7-8 seconds upon entering a saved file/server.
I beleive the entire issue is due to the fact that the Compass requires the patcher to run, but Optifine is obviously not compatible with patches. This doesn't make sense to mee seing as the Finder compass was advertised as compatible with optifine. If anyone has a solution that would be extremely helpful, I would really like to use both mods. (I hope this made sense)

I'm worried about how long this is going to take to update for 1.3 when 1.3 does come out considering this whole project is closed source, and sp614x has no intentions of letting the community help with the development among other things.
