does anyone knows a link to the latest builds of forge? I just tried D2 version of optifine and the latest built of Forge via MagicLauncher and it isnt compatible with optifine
I also want to know how you get CTM for glass panes working. Referring it like I do with glass does not work for me. The CTM-file for glass is in a /ctm subdirectory and called class_ctm.png and work fine for glass blocks. How could I fix this?

Glass panes currently only use ctm.png and render in fast mode.

I've got a problem with optifine. I did'nt test this on vanilla but while playing on the latest version of ftb-mindcrack, trees that grow don't show. It's like an un-updated chunk or sumthing. Sorry if u can't understand, I'm not so good with my grammar.
I've been having a problem with optifine since almost the beginning, and still have no answers, basically it seems like optifine is loading the texture pack files I have 1 pixel too far right and too far down. as an example, the sapling sprite has a thin blue and red line on the top and left side of it. All non-vanilla textures also render like this, so blocks render with an invisible top and left edge. very annoying to see lava and sky through certain blocks. I also tracked this down as a problem with optifine, since MCpatcher's HD texture fix doesn't produce this glitch. Anyone have a workaround for this?

Ok, looks like that fixed it. Yes, I had both AA and AF enabled. Turning them off fixed the issue.
Here is a screenshot for reference, maybe it's something to look into? A bug in AA rendering or something?
when i monitor the VRAM usage it never goes over 1200MB, the 480GTX has 1536MB
most time the "lag" is like 10fps when i turn, sometimes (every 5-30sek) i get a lagspike of an half second or so
i changed the tp to a 64px but it is allmost the same (it is now more like 15fps)
the last time i had this was in 1.2 and it was gone till now (1.4.7)
ok it was already in 1.4.4 but allmost not noticeable, now it is extreme
This does not look like a GPU lag.
Running with mods installed?
Sp614x could the following error be because of how the Magic Map on Twilight forest renders two different things, both the regular map and then the icons for certain places on the map.

When I drop an item on the floor it looks like this (click me http://www.zaslike.c...fcefuuz3rhy.png) Mod items have bugged textures on edge but when I drop vanilla item on the floor it looks normal. I have optifine 1.4.6 D2 on tekkit lite installed. How do i fix this ?

I have Direwolf20's 5.0.1 FTB (Minecraft 1.4.7, Forge 519) and Optifine 1.4.6 C3. The game loads and runs, but dynamic updates simply don't work well. For example...
1. Iron doors don't respond to redstone anymore. Buttons and pressure plates don't open them.
2. Flowing water no longer grows or shrinks properly when their sources are added or removed.
3. Items like torches and snow that are supposed to break when the block they are attached to breaks don't anymore.
4. Snow-covered leaves don't drop properly when the tree is removed.
5. Taller plants like cactus and reeds don't break up properly when the plant below them is broken. The upper parts stay, at least graphically.
6. Gravity for sand and gravel occasionally fails, leaving an invisible block that severely hampers movement.
This looks like some kind of Forge vs. Optifine issue again. Maybe Optifine needs a specific 1.4.7 version to fix this?

C3 and forge 518 work fine for me. I had those issues with earlier versions of forge though
Speaking of smooth chunk loading, when set to anything except default I'm getting texture flickering when blocks are modified; it's particularily noticeable when activating pistons with redstone, or placing water.
I don't know if this is an optifine issue, but I'm getting a problem where random non block blocks (chests, engines, liquiducts, etc) are being rendered at full light level
I'm using the FTB DW20 pack, and I only really started noticing it since in the last two weeks. I have earlier screenshots of problem areas in my base that are perfectly fine.

Ok, looks like that fixed it. Yes, I had both AA and AF enabled. Turning them off fixed the issue.

This does not look like a GPU lag.
Running with mods installed?
The download link is in fact a small IQ test.
It filters the absolutely clueless users and saves me from "ICANT PLAY, FIX NAO!!11!!!"
The TwilightForest maps are fixed, available in next version.
This is a known conflict between mod items and AA/AF.
I am adding support for some mods, the basic items from RedPower and BuildCraft should work correctly.
You can compare to Vanilla+OptiFine.
If the lag is not there in vanilla, then it is a mod problem.
From which mod is the item?
Thank you
Do you plan on changing it? And with the default-pack the CTM works also in fancy mode.
BTW I'll donate a bit of my adfly money to you, because of your great mod and MagicLauncher. Thank god they exist.
Works fine for me: http://i.imgur.com/QmIsWFg.png

yeh i think it only happens using a 32x32 texture pack that upgrades those items. i bet you will get the problem if you do that.
