With mods and things, guys, the OptiFine B4 builds (with Forge) require Forge .789. Look for it in the builds. And you must put the files in the forge.jar, not in the mods folder. And DONT COPY the .jar like you do with modloader. Now for PC users, this is a breeze with 7z or WINrar.
Not working. Won't let me even run the older .789 forge version. crashes with 2 failures even without optifine installed.
I love this mod,helping alot in my fps.But u should add a new option to disasble the visual glowing effect from an enchanted object,it be very helpfull specialy for the moment that they fix this issue.
OptiFine HD B4 Ultra for Minecraft 1.6.2 is consistently causing my game to crash on startup.Doesn't seem to be a mod conflict, it's on there last on magiclauncher like you said to, so I'm confused.
The 1.6.2 light version seems to be working without causing a start-up crash though, I'll see if I can live with that one.
Also when I use this using the magic launcher, if I try to change any of the antialiasing settings or the mipmap settings the game intstantly crashes, which is why I was trying to use the harder method, so I could use the launcher to edit the amount of data that it uses with java.
I really wish this mod could work with the pixelmon mod :/ I really want to play it

Hello! Because I know nothing about 1.6.2's format, can you help me with a few things?
(Stuff in bold means a folder name)
1: Random Mobs-do I need to make a separate folder for each mob that has multiple versions, or do I leave it in the Entity folder (ex: entity>blaze, blaze2 or entity>blaze>blaze, blaze2) Also, do I need to put an underscore between the mob name and number, or just leave it have it is?
2:Other Color Maps- I made a custom color map for the sky and water (named skycolor0 and watercolor) but where do I put them? Do I put them with the "foliage" and "grass" color maps in the colormap folder or somewhere else?
3: 1 and 2 Combined: I know that resource packs that use MCPatcher have to make a separate folder named "mcpatcher" in the "minecraft" folder. Do I need to make a folder named "optifine" to include the random mobs and color maps?
4:Mod Textures: I made some textures for mods that are meant to be used with my pack, but where do I put them? Do I make a "mods" folder in the "textures" folder and put them there (like in previous versions) or what?
This mod is an incredible piece of work, I've gotten to 130 fps with mods installed under good conditions. Without Optifine I got about 50, and that was on a good day. One thing that would be nice is further texture pack customization features. Mcpatcher has better features than Optifine in regards to texture packs and ctm stuff, but Optifine makes up for that loss by far in fps increase and all of the videos settings.
I tried to change the color of my Optifine cape, but it seems as though Optifine.net is no longer there???
optifine.net takes you to a spanish dog food company or something.
Does anyone know what's going on?

Got smacked by a zombie hockey player and its Zamboni.

I just wish he could keep up to date with forge. Takes over a month for it to be on a later version.
