For everyone having issues try using the Magic Launcher to help load mods better. There is a tutorial for it on the forum page. =D
Everything works fine for me and I have 10+ mods installed including Forge. ^_^d

How does one deactivate an Optifine cape on an account? Someone donated for me (for some odd reason) and left MY minecraft username in the area. This is overlapping my Minecon cape now, and I'd like it fixed.
I don't know which version this started in, or if it is a known issue, but it is nonetheless an issue that needs to be addressed as soon as possible.
When altering the texture for a clock in default, the resulting texture is not visible, and is replaced by a default clock.
But when I have optifine installed and try the same edited texture that was not visible ingame earlier, I instead get an unanimated clock texture using my custom-made texture, but without the animated dial.png.
Is this an error that anyone else noticed? Is this something that simply cant be fixed or is it something you haven't encountered before is what I am trying to ask.
Yeah.. This isnt the first time ive ever used optifine, or any mod for that matter, obviously that didnt work.
It still works just fine on Feed the Beast, but vanilla is a no go
hello.
did anyone expierences something i can best describe as "micro-lags" with optifine running ?
occurs mainly when placing/removing blocks, i rightclick once, but then it "lags" and 2-3 blocks are placed.
(may be FTB/forge-related. i disabled optifine and problem vanished)
anyone else noticed something like that ? any tips what i need to disable to solve this ?
edit: also optifine enables that circle-graph-thingy bottom rigt corner, whitch cant be turned off.
shift+F3 disables /enables lag-meter-thingy bottom left instead
There's an option to turn it off in Video Settings >> Other, just look for the Lagometer toggle.

An awesome feature would be to have a slider that lets you change the tick rate in single-player No other mods that did/do it have been updated past 1.2.5, so idk how difficult that is. All of the modders that have done it say its fairly easy, though.
"lagometer" yes, "profiler" remains even if switched to "off".
i played some more ald that lag, may be water-related somehow. i mean it gest BAD underwater
scratch that, just turned optifine off, and no effect. still lags especially when water starts flowing.
it may not be optifine related at all
@down, yeah same problem, but i just relog and its back to "normal".
Must be a bug, it should disappear altogether.

People are saying this because they donated before sp614x implemented a "custom" choice for the OF cape. Now when you donate you can choose like a red, green, blue etc. Or you can customise the text and different parts of the cape. I'd like to know if I could change my cape after I donated but with the amount of cape spam here it's hard.
I want to know how to change it now too, stupid if we can't.
repeating endlessly over and over and over and ... Well, you get the picture. If I use the default texture pack, no issues. How do I fix this so it shuts up? Thanks!
this really needs a fix for old zombie/zombie pigman skins. I can't play some of the old custom maps I want because they require a texture pack, but the zombies/pigmen look all glitchy and wear their faces as pants!
Either give send me the $10 to my VISA card, or I can sue and report you. Or, give me the cape I requested, it was custom btw!
Please reply through my email!
Admins, warn me go ahead.
You're such an ungrateful moron. That's all I have to say.
And to the others demanding the capes for the donation, wow. Who knew that people donate to things only to get rewarded, not because it's a good thing to do these days?
Amazing!
I love fog! it's such a great concept!
And fog also has a horrific side which is awesome, and then you just made it even more awesome!
I'll sure be downloading this when it gets modloader compatible!
Great work keep going!
Please, do not support ModLoader. It just makes it so we need a mod to get other mods, and sometimes, the mods are updated before ModLoader is. And it's not open source, which is @#$%ing retarded because modders have to decompile it just to make/update mods. Also, fireworks don't work with it for some reason.
