I was wondering about an issue. I've got Magic Launcher 1.0.0 and the latest optifine. I've been having this issues since 1.5.1, using optifine and magic launcher cause my Minecraft to crash unexpectedly upon joining a server. Is this a known issue, or is there a solution? D; I hate default text.
I decided to update my Optifine to your latest Standard D2 version today.
I don't know if this is a 7-Zip problem but after deleting the META-INF folder, 7-Zip freezes when trying to drag all the Optifine files over. When I drag JUST the .class files (not the natural.properties or the ctm folder) then it successfully copies over. Then I managed to get the natural.properties and the ctm folder over, but starting minecraft just gave me a black screen after the Mojang logo.
My Minecraft is blackscreening every time I install HD U D2, even if it is the ONLY mod installed. I've just tried HD U D1, and it works fine. Also, before anyone asks, yes, I did delete META-INF. Can anyone help me?
Edit: Nevermind, didn't realize there was a new Minecraft version out :P. Issue resolved.
Hey, I love Optifine and that's why I donated to it but I installed it just now, after updating Minecraft, and I have my cape but nothing else. No options for less lag. Actually, it's produced even more lag. I was wondering if you know why this happened because I followed the instructions: deleted meta-inf then dragged all the files from Optifine (excluding the .. file) 1.5.1 L_D2 <--(I have no idea what the L_D2 is or if I even needed to tell you but anyway.) I'm glad I have my cape but please fix this, I have a new computer but it's not very good...
Hey I updated to the 1.5.2 and using the launcher Installed the 1.5.2 of Optifine [After taking out all outdated mods]. When I try to play MineCraft from the launcher It crashes and in the log says that it needs a modloader or something. I am assuming it mean MineCraft Forge, which as of 10 minutes ago hasn't updated to 1.5.2. Is there a solution to this?Never mind I launched it, working now [Think so, due to Forge mod loader being absent it doesn't say how many mods] I stupidly kept on hitting cancel instead of Ok. Sorry for an inconvience.

I think that since a lot of people have Multicore processors That a lot of people would be eager to have Chunk Loading: Multicore working again without the flicker! I obviously have no idea how much work it would take to fix it but Many would be very thankful!
And also I wondered Disabling Threaded Optimization manually for Minecraft/java through Nvidia/amd control panel wouldn't give any performance boost over smooth because in effect your canceling out the added features of Multicore chunk loading?
