We are getting some pretty messed up textures with Optifine for 1.10.2 and Architecturecraft blocks. Is there any way compatibility can be added for this mod? Removing Optifine fixes the texture rendering issue.
Why would someone do that?
I'm not meaning it like in bad way, I literally am asking our of curiosity. lol
Like what are the advantages and stuff? :3
Why? For the same reason any other shaderpack creator would have. To make the game prettier, the way they like to. And looks like DethRaid has gone a step further.

Sushi Shaders - a fresh and (objectively/somewhat) realistic shader, approved by Past Life Pro, made by yours truly. Works on Mac OSX
This has probably been asked before, and I would look to see if it has been, but seeing as there's 2,573 pages, it would be tedious to look through every page for someone asking this question, with an answer.
Is optifine light discontinued? It's no longer being updated.

I'd imagine there's little to no point of keeping so many different versions of OptiFine (not even mentioning the extra time required for that), so seeing it being discontinued doesn't surprise me. Why do you need OptiFine Light anyway?

Optifine light seems like it would be much better than ultra, seeing as ultra is also meant to help make minecraft look better, light focus's on FPS.
So I tried figuring out the ctm_compact method and I've got a bug with it
As those photo's show the texture works fine on full glass blocks, but not on the panes, and only in the south and east directions... The code i'm using is just:

OptiFine Ultra is faster than Light, it has way more optimizations built-in. Only if you are using a complex resource pack make sure to disable all the Quality options. Light should have been named Simple, it was a simplified version with several basic optimizations.
Better Glass is not on the near TODO list.
It may break Forge and it will be problematic with shaders.
I sorry for non-standart question. Can you try make ray tracing project for Minecraft? I worked on ray-tracing with OpenGL, but in C++ language.
a shader developer is making a fully raytraced shader for minecraft. https://jotunstudios.com/dragon/

Items look cut in half while the game in on fullscreen on a 4:3 resolution
And this is with the default FOV? Version of Optifine with what Minecraft version?
I have been playing since 2014. I own the Java, Xbox 360, and Windows 10 Edition of this game

Optifine 1.10.2 B7 Preview.
You can just disable all unwanted functionality off, and only leave stuff that raises your framerate.

Hi! Do you have any plans to update OptiFine 1.7.10? I want to "method=overlay" for 1.7.10! Thanks.
so... anyone know a fix for this situation? ctm_compact seems bugged on glass panes. is there anything I should try?
I thought that, it being specifically made to help FPS solely, it would do better.
Please create an issue: https://github.com/sp614x/optifine/issues

Currently there are no plans to update CTM on 1.7.10.
Porting the latest CTM features to 1.9 or 1.8 may be possible, but 1.7.10 is too old.
