not sure if this has been brought up before but here i go.
Minecraft crashes when trying to upgrade a chest from the iron chests mod. I have read on the iron chests forum and the mod auther has said that he cannot fix the issue as it is optifine that is the cause of the problem.
I'm also having an issue with chests, but Metallurgy 2 chests. They flicker back and forth (from one chest type to another) after porting from another dimension (like the nether). Removing Optifine makes the chests work as expected.
How on earth did you manage to get Mojang to put a custom cape on their servers for you and donators?
Most likely, Optifine has it's own cape database, independent of Mojang, such that if you use Optifine you look at OF's database of capes first, and Mojang's database second.
(In regard to a mod that gives realistic animal genetics):
Would you really rather have bees that make diamonds and oil with magical genetic blocks?

Now that the code of the client and the server are unified would be fantastic to migrate the multithreading code to the server. removing capacity limitation of all servers

You'll want to put the following files in your /bin/ folder:

As well as the "natives" folder.
Typically, you don't really ~need~ to update your LWJGL files (a "Force Update" of Minecraft should download and replace your older files, for the latest versions available at the time of the last Minecraft client update)... but if a mod specifically recommends a new version, that's what you should get.
Finally, someone who says "specific" intructions how to update lwjgl. I didn't really get what it meant by "update" lwjgl, it been leaving me wondering and frustrated eversince I first saw this thread.
