I'm having a HUGE problem with lag with the C4 version. I'm running it with the exact same settings that I used on the previous version. but it's dropped my framerates to choppy slow motion. I don't have this problem with the previous version that runs the game smooth as silk. Switching back to the previous version fixes things.
I'm using Magic Launcher to load the mods and I'm not using any other mods except Optifine (and I always switch one version off before turning on another). I don't know if this would have anything to do with it.
I just installed the newest ultra version and I am experiencing a problem with the water. Above the water looks fine with/without clear water turned on. Under the water all I see is a solid grey/white color with clear water turned on and off. Can someone tell me how to fix this?
just updated to New C4 (ultra) and the minecraft does start, it is not crash it is just loading constantly same words over and over and over again. not sure why this is happenning...
i will have to downgrade mine...
CIT / CBT = Randomobs for blocks/ items ? if so, i've seen that before as a feature in optifine i think, but cant tell where

Glass and ice are using BetterGlass (multi-pass rendering), which is not in OptiFine yet.
For some reason, I can't get my HD fonts working. I've used over 3 different packs on 3 different versions of the game and none of them seem to be patched with the HD fonts. I also tried using MCPatcher to patch my jar, and still no HD fonts.. Help?
Switching OFF the Weather does not work on servers anymore. Please put this function back in. I hate the darkness of rainy weather and the noise it makes.

i found an entity rendering bug with this. (i'd show the image but i can't use imgur. is there another way? ._. if someone tells me an easy way i'll show it )
EDIT: i have enough info, and it has something to do with multi-core: mobs and players losing limbs, torso (O.O), head, and its second layer. why is this happening?
Have a huge problem: for some reason, some mobs are invisible and I can't hit them. I checked some posts and they say it's a problem with Optifine's Random Mods function.
Does anyone know of this and how can it be fixed?
I'm running FTB Unleashed (1.5.2).

Life is a Learning Curve.... Unfortunately, you're stuck on the bottom...amongst the bones of the stupid.
There is an issue with more then 1024 textures in a single folder, it causes this exception:
java.lang.ArrayIndexOutOfBoundsException: 1024
When lowering the number of textures in the folder, this error goes away and minecraft loads correctly. Here's a download to the texture files which causes this error: Tinkers Construct

I just let Forge load it now. Installed the latest version from the Forge website (#859 as of right now).
My installation is a chain load as follows
LiteLoader -> Forge -> All mods load from that.
I don't even need Magic Launcher anymore. All of my mods will now either load from LiteLoader or Forge. Yay!
On a side note: Thanks for making Optifine Forge loadable!
