Is it an Optifine bug that causes my textures to get messed up at random intervals? My chests begin to look like a page of textures, green and blue. My character always glitches and has textured limbs. The items in NEI will be partially invisible.
I have a big problem. I'm using the A7 version because I use Feed The Beast and it hasn't been updated to 1.4.5 yet (still 1.4.2) and it's like full daylight at night. I see every clearly, even in caves with no lights or torches. Can you tell me how to fix this or if it's possible, can you make the latest version for 1.4.2 also?

Umm, I have a problem with HD D4 Ultra, when I refresh the area (A+F3) the world goes invisible and the underground becomes visible, so I have to exit the world and go back on, please fix.

Yes I did but kept the defaults in a fresh install with just Optifine installed.
NVM, problem was with Misa's Texture pack. She included Lightmap files and I asked her what they do after seeing that everything returned to normal when I deleted them.
Well, got a remark I didn't expect seeing as I asked politely. So, it there any way that you, sp614x, can look into the matter concerning Optifine and Misa's Lightmap files?
And my powers of intuition says that you'll probable respond with "Talk to Misa, it's her mod".
I'm not being rude or anything, I just don't like when others are rude and flippant. Not that I'm saying that she is...
These are great mods to have and I'm trying to narrow down the cause of a crash.
I'm playing on a really popular server, even with optifine, my fps is like 10. Any suggestions that you can give me?
A few things you can do to boost FPS would be to:
1.) Run minecraft through game booster
2.) Open the task manager, and stop running all uneccesary processes.
3.) Open the launcher, then open task manager and right click on javaw.exe process. Increase priority to "high".
4.) Change windows 7 to compatibility mode for a lower version, like windows 2000.
5.) Run the game, then go to Computer>Properties>Advanced>Performance... and tell it to adjust for best performance.
6.) Instead of that last one, open task manager and end the process called "explorer.exe". This will stop all of windows' main stuff on the desktop, like the taskbar, icons, etc. Don't panic though, you can initiate explorer.exe again by opening task manager and going to File>New Task(run)... And typing "explorer.exe".
Alternately, if you are on a Mac, you can hop down to your local electronics store and buy a real computer.

Also, having an issue with a null point exception and wondering if it could be this mod. When i play a world, it will crash and i cant start it up again unless i uninstall millenaire, using D3 ultra will try D4 tonight.

I'm not sure where to report this. As soon as I updated Forge from 416 to 425+ with OptiFine D4 I got the following error for Optifine.

and I downloaded the standard, because my computer is a bit slow, and I changed the setting to my liking, go into a map save, to test it out, and not even a millisecond into loading the world, minecraft crashes.
So i went and generated a brand new map, and I take two steps in that one, and Boom, another crash report.
I have no clue what I could have done wrong.. Help D:

How to fix chunks unloading when extreme distance set on multiplayer? I look back and chunks are unloading to far distance border, then unloading is stopped and i see a world divided by unloaded chunks.It's weird.

Ok, Jeb doing better, but mods still much more awesome than vanilla. I've totally disappointed in what Notch do, only mods can save the Minecraft.
Anyone else having this bug? Its basically where you leave Vsync on and exit minecraft. But after logging back on and going into your world, you have to return on vsync so it will give you smooth FPS again.also without optifine vsync works fine

I am having issues with optifine Ultra calling the connecting textures mod when it isn't even included in the texture pack. The some issues I've seen are with the windows, bookshelves and sandstone- the windows will turn into the default minecraft connected texture, the bookshelf will use the default minecraft texture, and sandstone will be completely white except for the top (but only sometimes?)
I have not tested other versions, but I want to use ultra for its AA support. Also, there are no other mods installed.

Curse PremiumI have not tested other versions, but I want to use ultra for its AA support. Also, there are no other mods installed.
Optifine can already work with FTB. Running it right now.
