nope because i couldnt get minecraft to load with that + some mods

Optifine crashes 2 minutes RIGHT after I enter a world.

if its redpower you will need not wait for much longer Direwolf20 wants to get singleplayer lets play season 5 by December 1st and one of the mods he wants is Redpower 2 so we should have it soonhowever Repower will prob require at least Forge version 394 or 395 which optifine needs to update for

Update: I changed out to the exact Forge version that is compatible according to the informational block with the download:

(compatible with Forge #393, fixed falling in void when loading a world, fixed chat not wrapping long lines correctly, fixed crash when riding pigs with Forge installed)

So even using the recommended forge version doesn't rectify the issue. So sorry, hate having to tell people about bugs. Thank you though for trying. I'm sure the bug's will get worked out. In the meantime, thanks for all the effort you put forth for the community, it is appreciated and valued.

is there anyway to allocate more than 1.3 gb of ram using optifine?

Falling into void when loading a world is fixed, falling into void when creating a new world is not.

can you fix it in a new version that also supports more versions of forge?

does the awkward silence mean your working on it?

No idea. It's obviously your computer, I'm running 383 with no problem, but I'm not sure what exactly it is about your computer that's causing this. I'll let someone else handle this.

It's not optifine it's you.

Make sure you installed optifine last (this is important with the forge API) make sure you always install optifine last or atleast after any mods that are API's that you install.

entities are messed up not just mobs cause chests are messed up to even iron chest's chests
