I am having a glitch with the most updated Ultra version, in which I can see every block outline from far away, and the under ground cave outlines can be seen in very thin lines from far away. It is not like the ground is clear, but it is like the underground's light (lava) can show through. Stairs are also having these lines when a light source is near them. No Texture pack.
I seem to have encountered a problem with the compatibility between the Battlegear (Forge) mod and OptiFine. Minecraft started up fine with magiclauncher, but as soon as I set the water and lava to "Dynamic" and unpaused, I got a crash log. I will post it here, and I would appreciate it if someone could tell me how to fix this.

I launched regular minecraft, pushed "u" (which is the update manager key) and it said that all my mods are up to date. Is there a manual update I should do?
BECAUSE I DEMAND TO KNOW WHY AUTOSAVE ISN'T AUTOSAVING MY WORLD
I JUST LOST 14 HOURS OF BEE BREEDING
IF THAT'S NOT WHAT AUTOSAVE IS FOR
THEN WHY IS IT CALLED AUTOSAVE?
JESUS CHRIST
Why are you playing that much Minecraft at once?
Thats unhealthy.
And, to answer your question, I've never had a problem with autosave. (Mind you, I'll play no more than a half hour at the most)
Perhaps you installed incorrectly?
Have you got Optifine installed last?
OH and here is my error log in MagicLauncher, any help? It just black screens when I log in...

I have a suggestion for CTM, to help fix the issues people are having with logs. I suggest adding two new connection methods: North-South and East-West. These methods would only have an affect on the top and bottom sides of blocks. I think that it is rather self explanatory what they do, connecting to blocks on certain sides of the block. Another option would be to make the vertical and horizontal methods work like this for the top and bottom of blocks.
Also, you should disable the automatic block rotating for logs when anything but the random CTM method is enabled for that log.
P.S. I have noticed the outline for fire also.
