I installed the Optifog+Optimine 1.6.6_C and when I try to change AdvancedOpenGL, everything disappears leaving just the dirt background for a few seconds before going completely black. Any ideas?
/edit/ Using 1.6.6_B has the same effect.
that happens to me too, but you can still change the advanced open GL in the in-game pause menu. it seems to only crash on the minecraft title screen options
Mipmapping doesn't work correctly with HD textures though, hence:
I too would love to have this, I mean the only reason you really need mip-mapping is Because of the hd textures.
I know its totally possible to, there is a mip-mapping patch that gets updated occasionally that works perfectly fine with mcpatcher, however i dont know how it would interact with optifog.

So use the HD patcher, then modloader, then optifog/mine?
I tried using the patcher to just install them all at once, but 1 class file is edited by both.
Hey, I looked at the source to the conflicting classes in Optimine and MCE, and I'm developing a merged file so they work together.
I've finished m.class, still need to work on nc.class. Wat do I need to do to be able to recompile them when I'm finished so I can test that the merge was successful?
EDIT: Ah crap. I finally found out what I need to do, and now I have to start all over again with the unobfuscated sources....

install modloader, then patch, then install optifog/mine, but leave out the se.class and the jf.class. optifog/mine will override modloader's kr.class but modloader will still work

You are amazing. Thank you so much :biggrin.gif:
By the way, incredible FPS increase. More than normal, last time I got +5 fps, now I get +20 fps
Okay! Happiness is me, because I have successfully created a patch that allows you to have "OptiFog + Optimine 1.6.6" and "MCExtended" at the same time.
Please understand that I have no idea if this patch will work with OptiFog + Optimine 1.6.6_A, _B, or _C, as I've only looked at the plain 1.6.6 version.
I'm also sending a link to the source file for the patch to sp614x, so he might release the patch for the other versions himself, assuming he desires to, and assuming they need their own patch.
One thing that doesn't include is the side grass fix from MC Patcher. Can that happen?
It also doesn't have custom lava or water.
Edit:
Turning off the water animation, I noticed that it used my texture pack's water. That's odd.
Edit2:
Turning my water animation back on, I noticed that when I dropped a bucket of water, the animations were correct for my texture pack, so it just seems that still water retains the old texture.
it is hd textures compatible
install optifog/mine AFTER modloader

Download 2 is fine tho =P
To celebrate, I'm giving everyone who reads this post and cares a link to download the patch:

Added native support for HD textures. MCPatcher not needed anymore.
Added configurations for animated water, lava, fire and portals.
Disabling animations may increase FPS on slower computers even with default texture pack.
Mipmaps work with HD textures, tested up to 128x128. May increase the CPU load.
