Hello,
I've been somewhat detached from the news.
I am using (and very successfully) B1 Light and watching the news with surprise I see that there was progress towards B3 version. On the first page I read the versions that have come to Ultra and Standard B3.
Anybody could tell me whether changes from B1 to B3 are affected only these higher editions? Or there is the possibility that eventually release a Light B3? Or measured directly and an update to Cx if warranted?
I was reading the last pages and I not found something I clarify these doubts.
Regards,
PS1: They have spent a few days but better late than never: Happy Birthday Optifine!
PS2: sorry for my bad English
Optifine does NOT work with Millenare 4.6.7. It removes textures from some items making them invisible. Mostly non blocks.
I have this same problem. But I found if you go into your settings under 'quality' and toggle 'custom sky' on or off all textures come back!!!! I don't know why it does this and it is quite annoying, because you have to toggle it every time you start your game. BUT IT WILL WORK!!!
Hi, sp614x. Sorry for my bad English Do I understand correctly that the function of the Random Mobs for a single game? Can it be put on the server, so that the players have seen the same skin in one mob? I tried putting your mod only in client, and as a result we were looking at a mob and I saw pig.png skin, my friend pig3.png skin...
I got the c1 pre-release but anti aliasing doesn't work for me. All it does when I click it is nothing. It just stays off. It also has red lettering near the bottom of the anti aliasing description that says "effective after a restart". Any help is appreciated.
It always says effective after a restart, any version of OptiFine. You have to restart Minecraft for it to take effect I believe.
Default settings, except using multi-core chunk loading on a quad core system and chunks load much SLOWER than without optifine installed at all. I have to press Esc key to get chunks to load at a reasonable rate, but even then its still maybe half as fast as vanilla.
Turning the performance slider to max fps will tell minecraft to give utmost priority to rendering frames, which will reduce the performance of other tasks, like chunk loading. Turn the slider down to cap out your fps at a rate you can deal with. Also, make sure you dont have Lazy Chunkloading set.
Any fix coming for the broken items textures when using optifine with mods like Biomes 'o' Plenty? (not sure about with other mods cause this, but there are some other ones) It's only items, not blocks. Example:
Bug Report: Major memory leak. MAJOR.
Version: 147 D5 ultra
Issue: Client side caching of information. Most of the time, most or all of the memory is released if I change dimension.
Repeated wandering around the same dimension causes memory usage to increase to Java's limit.
Tested as client to SMP server.
Launcher: MultiMC
...
I can not reproduce the memory leak in both single-player and multi-player.
The memory usage starts about 130 MB and stabilizes around 170-190 MB, independant of dimension changing or wandering around.
The used memory seems to go up, but when the hard limit is reached a full GC is triggered and the used memory falls back to 170 MB.
This is with default GC settings.
I'm also curious to know if the missing texture issue with optifine installed, has been narrowed down yet. It may help to know that when it comes to enderstorage, the pouch texture is found and shows correctly without opti, but with opti it searches for a file location with a // instead of /, so of course doesn't find it. The other missing textures in mods don't output any debug though.

Is Java 8 JRE even released yet?
