sp614x,
Any idea why minecraft (with or without FTB) keeps using the internal Intel HD 4000 graphics and that there is no way to change anything so it actually uses the GTX 670?? Info on the net all refers to outdated nvidia drivers where there was still an option to force which GPU to use.
Thought maybe you had an idea about that.. On how to force it to use the correct GPU.
The graphics driver should have a setting to force the external GPU for some programs.
Hello, I recently donated $10 and got the cape I chose (Thanks :D), But I was wondering if there was a way to recolour the cape again? Or can you only colour it once when donating? If you can, please tell me. If you cant recolour it, could that be a later feature, please?

I'm curious about compatibility. Without thinking i was using the C and D series previews with FTP direwolf20 pack, which is Forge 1.4.7-6.6.0.515, but it seemed to work fine although the descriptions state works with 518 but not 506-516. Is this one of those your mileage may vary situations?
When using Optifine with Twilight Forest, and then using the Magic Map it stays blank and then the following error also plays constantly while I have the map in the inventory. If I remove Optifine the map works again. The Maze maps work just not the Magic Map.

Say, there is a situation perhaps soon we can change the Capes in more detail? In other words, design it for each and every individual? Reduce his size, and so on!
And another question, you can do the next version of the Beacon disable animations and do that if below 20 FPS then it goes off post / server you are on now to the main screen of the game, and jump message - "Please Improve Your FPS". There are many situations that sometimes it crashes the computer if playing on 20 FPS all the time and such, it has happened before.
somehow when i use optifine C3 ultra in ftb it gives me some weird bugs like water not flowing anymore or not dissapearing anymore. also trees not visually updating. Though it works now to simply install it with ftb
Update your forge to 518, both of you, using the directions I've given.
Download the Universal link, and while in your Launcher, go to your mod pack, go to editing it, and then go in the Jar Mods tab. Disable the minecraftforge that's there, and replace it by pressing "Add mod" and directing it to where you have the .zip file for the upgraded Forge.

First of all, great mod, i realy love it. Got 1 problem tho:
I've used the optifine version 1.4.6_HD_U_C3 and the preview version 1.4.6_HD_U_D2. With both versions, if i set the render distance further then ''Far'', nothing happends on Multiplayer. The render distance works perfectly on single player tho...
Is this a know problem, or has it someting to do with the server i play on?
Optifine has no jurisdiction on what chunks are loaded on a server. If the server doesn't load chunks quickly, there's nothing you can do. When you play single player, you have control over it because the "server" is actually on your computer, so you control what it can and cannot do, such as chunk loading speed.

I already had 518 and it still didn't work, I don't use the FTB Launcer, I just use there configs. Redownloaded 518 to try and it still didn't work.
The help wasn't directed at you, just the people in the quotes. I dunno how to help you. I know very little about FTB, however these common problems that I have helped with, are problems that I have had and have fixed.

Server chunk upload to clients are limited to a maximum of roughly "Far +80 ~ +96". There is a setting in the server properties file that range from 1 to 15 called "view-distance". You cannot set it above 15. This is hard coded. 10 is the default with a multiplayer chunk cache of 491 which represent approximately "Render Distance Far +0". Setting it to 15 will result in a slightly farther multiplayer chunk cache of 961 which represent approximately "Render Distance Far +80 ~ +96".
Based on experiments I made, on a server multiplayer game, it is best to set render distance to Far +80. This will result in optimal "Fog" rendering. Setting it higher will have no positive effect on render distance but will slow down Minecraft.
As a side note, in singleplayer, setting the render distance to "Extreme" result in a "multiplayer" (that's how it is named even thought you are playing alone...) chunk cache of over 4200...
Whenever I try to download this, it sends me in circles. I started by initially clicking the download link under the standard download version. It took me to Adfly, and when I clicked skip add, it took me to some sort of site for Optifine. I went to the downloads section and clicked download on the version I wanted, and after clicking skip add on the Adfly link, it took me back to the same site. I tried again, same results. I'm going to try some other methods, but I honestly have no clue what the deal is, and frankly it's pretty irritating. Hopefully I can find a solution, but if not, I'll just see if I can find some help.
Fixes some Custom Sky bugs.
Tested with DokuCraft, Soartex Fanver, SMP Revival and Misa's texture pack.

You can change the cape design here: http://optifine.net/capeChange.php
Send me a PM with the details and it will be fixed.
its ok its showing now

But now, things are working correctly and smoothly.
You are doing great sp614x. Keep it up!
P.S.: As some members pointed out, "Better Glass" support would be awesome...
This is a design limit and it is not easy to be fixed.

Oh, I didn't notice that. Thank you for informing me of that XD
