OK, concerning the random mob textures, it appears that in the resource pack you need to create a folder called "mcpatcher" and replicate the mob folder file structure within that.
I don't have mcpatcher installed, but it still works, which means that Optifine is searching for this folder?
Sp614x, Can you fix this mc bug? https://mojang.atlassian.net/browse/MC-10323 Basically its a enchanted item glow bug when close up, it kills FPS down to 1-3, Apparantly its fixed with BFG.class replacement i found online but my AV Says its a virus, scanned online and its a virus, so could you like... work your magic and fix it?
(And if you cant, maybe add some way to remove the enchanted glow & colour client side?)
I get these artifacts (check the image) when using optifine with almost everything on fancy, anisotropic filtering x4 and antialiasing x2. Any tips on how to get rid on them? Also if I turn custom fonts on the chat is unreadable.
Edit: I'm using the Soartex Fanver resource pack.
Edit: On an unrelated matter, I just noticed that mipmapping makes leaves and vines look much worse than they originally are. The textures are blurred way too much and the vines aren't very see through anymore.
Edit once again: I switched to the standard version of optifine and I'm not seeing the same artifacts anymore. They only appeared on the ultra version.
I am a kitteh. Kittehs don't have rules. Don't tell kitteh to do something. Kitteh does when he pleases. Most people think that the cake is a lie. Without cake my life has no meaning. My life has a meaning. Therefore the cake is true. Also, kittehs is a plural, so you don't get an apostrophe. Get your facts straight.
Are there any plans for an optifine installer that both does not require Magic Launcher and does not require the jvm arguments? I'm not going to push for one because installers might be a bit of a pain to integrate with forge, but at the same time, it might make things easier in the long run.
