Forget about my problem, I fixed it. Not really "fixed" cause I still don't know how to solve it but here's what I did :
in my saved world, I replaced the files in millenaire\buildings about this village (the name corresponding to the coordinates of the village) with ones coming from a previous copy of the world.
It doesn't change any blocks so I had to destroy a building who wasn't considerated as one. But it works, villagers started to build on the dirt I placed over the water.
The only problem I still have is the radius that never changes on the maps.
Please don't double post, you can use the edit button if needed.
Here is what I ask of you, first copy paste the code you changed here so I can see if you were at the right spot, then list all of those places you mentioned before, and finally up the radius of those places one by one and see if it works each time you change something because apparently there was an update to village radiuses and the FAQ needs updated (as well as me who needs updated lol)

The village radius in the config file is just a max limit for all villages in the game. This can be increased with no obvious effect on the village radius.
In each village definition file (located in .minecraft/mods/millenaire/cultures/<culture>/villages/) there is a radius setting which controls each villages specific radius. Change this number to be larger to actually increase a village's radius.
One caveat to increasing villages radii is that it tends to get laggy above about 75 (and also won't all fit on the village map anymore).

Is this new? It used to all be set to just what the config file said?
I'm having EXACTELY the same thing happening, ID numbers identical even. Read the thread but noone replied to this person. Could someone please reply to both of us? That would be great, I'd love to get my server to run again
I had millenaire run on 1.6.2, then from one day to the next he crashed and noone could help me with it. They said I have to upgrade to 1.6.4, so i've started that task. Now i'm getting these conflicts again, I also got conflicts in 1.6.2 and i think ignoring them results in this horrid crash without solution like I've had..
Now I do like to be able to STICK to a version number aswell, and not needing to upgrade to the latest of this and that.. Because I've had to quit playing for months now untill all the mods i use were upgraded... Let alone that they are.. So hopefully there is someone that can help me with these conflicts- then when I play anew I can start with a smooth server and not one that's already complaining from day one.
Thanks alot in advance,
Pretty sure this is perfectly normal and expected.
I change the radius settings in .minecraft/mods/millenaire/cultures/normans/villages/grosbourg.txt, the value in game, in .minecraft\mods\millenaire-custom\config-custom.txt and in .minecraft\mods\millenaire\config.txt
But maybe, even if it works, it doesn't chnage the green area on the map.

Read the post again, felinoel. He's followed the exact directions that you are quoting.
I do wish that I had a fix, but other than a test-run of the latest version of Minecraft the other day when trying to set up a server for myself and my roommates, I haven't played Minecraft since 1.5.x

He was quoting me so I fixed the quotes how it should be quoting druha since druha knows about this recent change.

If you did as I suggested, then I got nothing. Perhaps changing the village radius doesn't apply to already generated villages? I don't really know how to help you passed this. Sorry.
I don't think it's really that new. The settings have been in the files since I started playing this mod about 6 months ago.
lol six months would be relatively new for me for this.

Weird... before six months ago it did apply to already generated villages...
Didn't I already ask for a copypaste of the code he altered? If I didn't I am asking now.
I wish i could help somehow. Well, i am norwegian so maiby i can help translating or something. Never modded anything so translating is probably the only thing i can help with. Just dont want this mod to die out :/

My server has been spamming this message for a couple of days now.
2013-11-23 12:19:27 [INFO] [ForgeModLoader] SRV ERROR: (lumbermanhut_1 at -226/71/422/1/0/Hutte de Bucheron/net.minecraft.world.WorldServer@699c93f4): No TileEntitySign at: -223/72/423
It happens about every 10 seconds when a certain village is loaded. It wasn't doing this for the first week or two the server was up, only now. Is there a way to fix this? What exactly is the problem?
Thanks!

Weird... it seems that at coords -223/72/423 the sign in a lumberman hut has gone missing, perhaps someone broke it?
Just any old sign should be fine to replace it with, if you don't know where the sign should go place a ton of them and then wait for text to appear on one of them.
I found a bug where the Mayan carver's wife won't deliver any materials to the carver's house! She was doing it at first, but when the carver made one gold ornament, she stopped. Any explanation at all for this?

Did you fix the block ID conflicts?

Check the error log text file, anything there?

Well it is for my own SSP play not for SMP at all. Do i have to have permissions for that? I just add extra mods to my RR SSP world that's all
