Run into a strange error I didn't see on the wiki so I'll post a screen cap of it.
As you can see it says I have all the resources on the bottom, but the top part says Lacking Resources.
It isn't error!
Maybe builder upgrade construction.Beacuse you didnt give resources on the time!
If that is reason, you must wait to builder finish upgrading construction!
EDIT:Also, you can see two signs above that sings you reading!

Can you make it so that Enderman DONT SPAWN in the towns because they keep messing up the npc villages and then they nver fix them so yah PLZ
Usually the endermen are killed before they can pick up a block, but there's a tiny chance of that happening before they die. Suggestions go on the wiki, though.
i have open 6 world now, and if i click V than i get 6 times
´no known village closer than 2 km. keep searching´
but at 1.5.1 if i open a world than is there always a village around you.
is that change?
There is no need to remake worlds if there is no village at your spawn point, with the new beds introduced you can move your spawn point, just keep heading in one direction until you find them
So far we have Arabs (I'm not sure at which point in development this is; the thread seems to still be in the "Which Arabic civilization should we do" stage), Heian Japanese (Villager skins are already in the rar, but the official thread hasn't been updated for a while; I can only assume the Japanese fans have been collaborating with Kinniken on this or working on their own forums and submitting the work to him), an Inuit culture (you're around halfway done, right Felinoel?), and a Byzantine village (up on the Millenaire Library, and being regularly updated by Ticlon). There was also a Viking village, but I can't really count it because the one upload the creator did was an incorrectly pathed mediafire link so nobody could try it out, and he hasn't posted in his thread in a long time.
Oh, there's also the Imaginations pack by MinerMiah, a fantasy-based add-on for Millenaire, updated regularly and very creative. So in total, that's 6 different cultures, not counting the extra buildings designed for specific, pre-existing cultures, like the Norman Walled Town or Werzieq's Building Pack.
I've hit a snag with one of the buildings but other than that I would say yea roughly halfway done, the annoyingly difficult part is the multiple upgrades for buildings... well not counting the research of course
Right, i'm having some issues with millenaire. Since the 1.8.1 update, i've not been able to find a town using the "V" key. Does anyone know what I can do to solve this issue?
1.7.2 - 14/10/11
- The "resource" signs in the Town Hall now displays a full list of resources needed for the selected project when right-clicked (useful when there are more than the six visible on the signs)
- If more than six resources are needed for a project, it will be indicated on the signs

Now I absolutley love the mod. I've followed it since around the time Yogscast did a spotlight on it. I get for every version I can, but as of late a few things trouble me.
1. The new cultures. the two new cultures are cool and unique, but they bring two very unwanted things to the game. Lag and spawning.
Lag is always an issue and can never be fully removed, but the wide variety of villages seems to have greatly reduced the capacity of minecraft. For example in 1.7.3 I could run the game at around twenty-four (24) FPS on a bad day without optifine(mine) fps boost. Now in 1.8.1 I get around fourteen (14) FPS with a small village right after starting with optifine(mine). In 1.7.3 I did NOT use a version of Millenaire containing Indian or Mayan cultures. If you do have an answer for this issue please tell, but my suggestion still stands on the other point.
I, being a long time fan of this mod and myself part french, prefer Norman villages as my starting village, so when I cannot find a Norman village to start I create a new map. Most of you would simply think me stuborn, racist, or elitist, but I am none of the three. I simply prefer the style of the Normans to start. It is a medieval theme that fits in with my view of the minecraft world and my IRL background. Once I do have this villahe I happily venture off from my home to find other villaes and lone structures.
My suggestion to this is to make the cultures seperate downloads. Players can choose which cultures, villages, and possibly even lone buildings will spawn in their world. even if only the entire culture can be downloaded it would be a massive improvement in my eyes.
2. Mayans seem rather thrown in. No offense, but when did we cross the atlantic? Oceans may be alot bigger in minecraft now, but I often end up finding Mayan villages not too far from Norman or Indian ones on the same landmass.
again this could be solved by making cultures a seperate download, or possibly by making the mayans a much much more rare spawn ia biome where you do not find Normans or Indians.
3. FOOD:
Maize looks like a twinkie. please try to simply update this so it looks more like corn.
(I may have missed this somehow) make rice growable by the player after getting the seeds or whatever you plant to grow rice. also update the picture and possibly make it a "normal" (non instant heal) food so it can be used in recipes and what-naught.
I found out the source of this problem before, check out the building type and look it up on the wiki then be sure the town has enough resources for it, there isn't enough room on the sign for all the material types
None yet
lol later I changed my considering if it was possible to realizing it is definitely possible
That is very odd, are you getting anything in your error log? Who are you going to to trade with? What happens when you right click a town leader?
lol so THAT is what all that covert French speaking was about o.o
Bah, sanity is overrated anyways
Hit it repeatedly maybe?
It is random and you weren't very lucky it seems
That's what i was doing and I almost broke my ESC key D:
And if i close minecraft, i'll lose half the town D:

That's what I do. I haven't had any issues after doing it. I luvs mah Normans. :3
I'm not sure why I prefer them. I really loved the Hindi for a while, the cooked mudbricks are soooo pretty. But I went back to Normans and haven't looked back. I guess they feel more substantial?

Suggestions go here, also I had the same idea, maybe do what the YogBox does and have a GUI that lets you install however many and different cultures you want, or maybe do like Mo'Creatures and have the different cultures be able to be turned on or off in game.
Are you sure the additional cultures are what is causing the lag though?

Screw the "Adventure Mode" Notch failed to bring us, this is way much better. I mean I would rather have NPC's actually build stuff like this instead of the villages already being pre-made.
I've found a mod conflict, but don't know where to post it..
Anyway, I have Millénaire and Zan's Minimap installed..
I went to change some settings for Zan's Minimap (M key), but the Millénaire "Quest" page comes up and overrides the keys.. Could you change this to something else please? <3
Screw the "Adventure Mode" Notch failed to bring us, this is way much better. I mean I would rather have NPC's actually build stuff like this instead of the villages already being pre-made.
Notch brought us an Adventure Update as promised, the Adventure Mode won't be for a while?
so i've had a few major issues with the group of my 3 hindu villages here.
1. village #1: after a few days of working, my builder stopped working on an upgrade on the palace. i found him at his home. he refused to come out of his house, even though his nameplate said he was building. he should have been upgrading the palace. its partly upgraded. i tried pushing him to the palace but he kept teleporting back to his house. it was daytime. he had all the resources he needed. so basically village #1 is a lost cause. i killed the builder and he didn't respawn. guess you changed that a while back...
2. village #2: has an issue with a project. it says it needs a hindu statue to start working on the temple. but the statue isn't on the village's buy list so i can't help them get one. and the other village next door has a bunch of extra statues i sold them yet they do not trade to fulfill this need. so village #2 is no longer constructing anything, even though there are other buildings it could work on (resources and space available).
3.1. village #3: overall i see both my main trader and builder warping. they'll be doing something and then they disappear, so they respawn in their house and come out only to disappear again and start the process all over. the trader gets caught in the door and disappears. the buider gets caught in his own construction and disappears and has to respawn in his house and try to continue but he disappears alot, or gets caught and i have to push him out.
3.2. village #3: i got to the point where the projects were telling me i had no space available, but i had like 11 more buildings left to find room for. this was with the config file village radius set to 70. when i set it higher you give us the message saying it shouldn't require more than 70 but this is not true since there are 11 more buildings that havent even been constructed. as soon as i set village radius higher the construction began to continue. but obviously there's ridiculous lag.
3.3. village #3: you have the same npc transporting resources AND the selling to the player. this is bad. bugs happen. in my 3rd village i eventually was unable to donate to the next upgrade because the trader got bugged out and was at some guys house trying to transport resources. she wouldn't leave the house. i mean she shouldn't even be tasked to move that stuff. her full time job should be to sit at the main building and wait for me to trade/donate.
so these problems lead me to ask, how can we fix these issues?
1. stationary builder/automate the construction? can't the construction npc just stand back (in front of the building under construction) and just stand by a table and act like a construction foreman? that way the thing gets completed faster because the guy won't spend ages trying to get unstuck as he gets caught inside the stuff he's trying to lay down.
2. make the trader stationary? that way she won't waste memory, get stuck, or bug out? more times than not, she will not show up, or she will teleport to me if i'm lucky. why not just have her stay in the main palace building full time?
also, some features i'd like to see or learn how to do myself:
1. config file: let us change true or false for each biomes millenaire chooses to allow villages to spawn in. i personally hate dealing with the forest biome and many people can't handle all those tree leaves on fancy graphics. the mod is demanding enough as is.
2. config file : true or false for each culture. many players just want norman villages only, etc. the randomness is not desirable now that you have multiple cultures and village types.
3. config file: true or false setting on whether you want single villages or those ones with hamlets. the ones with hamlets are rough on the lag.
4. config file: as far as hamlets go, or in this case, those hindu villages spawning in 3's. give us a setting in the config so that we can set how far they are away from each other. right now the distance is fixed (like 150meters or something) and thats not far enough. the village maps show the nearby hamlets are sharing build space, and build space is already very valuable. spread out the hamlets so they don't cannibalize each others plot.
5. i have yet to see a lone building out in the wild. do they really exist? can we get a config file to set how rare we want them to be? (like 1:1000 chunks for example).
It isn't error!
