Mods only work for the version they specify in their title. 1.3_01 mods do not work for 1.4. Do not post asking somebody to update their mod, it is pointless. You can suggest things you'd like to see when they update, or you can discuss the mod in its present state, but do not ask them to update it, it's spamming to do so.
A uniform method of naming mod threads will help organization a lot.
Here is how you should name your mod threads.
[Minecraft-Version]Mod Name[OTHER STUFF]
Please include the _0# from now on, thanks!
Example: [1.4_01]Dragons![WIP][MOB]
No need for [MOD] in the front anymore, because if it is in this section, it should be a mod.
If you have any questions about how you should name your mod, please post here!
I must say, great job getting everything organized quickly, But may I suggest a category for [WIP] mods? or would we just post those in the old one?
Those should go in Main Mapping and modding for now.
Alright sounds good =]
Great job on taking a big step to get things more organized around here. Has to be time consuming sifting through EVERY mod and moving them.
OneStopModShop was a life saver, but even then, I've also had to update the titles to the new format.
I've been moderating for about 3.5 to 4 hours.
I need a break.

Definitely take a huge break, you have down an amazing good at organizing new mods with this new title format and section so well.

You deserve it, outstanding work! If ever we meet, remind me and I'll buy you a (legal) beverage of your choice.
I will use the new format if I ever figure out java scripting (had to do something on topic) :wink.gif:
I wish you could update the rule and make it say one certain style of title, because some say [V1.3_01], [V 1.3_01], or [1.3_01], these subtle differences make the whole list of mods shift around which is sometimes hard to read.
All I have to say is finally! Some kind people have been doing this already, but now it's a rule. Wait... it is a 'rule' right?

It would be better if you have 1 thread for everything. For example
[V1.3]HogOfWar's Mods
Lots More Humans (Beta 1.5_01)
If it has a download, it still goes in the released mods section. You can put [WIP] at the end if you like
Exmaple
[V1.3]Dragons![.01][WIP]
Ok. It's not that big of a deal, as long as it has the minecraft version number in the front.

This is great, no more [LOL] [1337] thread titles.
