I'm running this mod with Modloader v5 and it seems to be working just fine, except for the occasional time that the propeller stops but the plane keeps moving anyways so ya, the mod works with Modloader v5.

Looks like fun xD
be cool if u could like make despencer type things on the wings that shoot arrows <3
take out buildings and other stuff
be good for SMP xD
Bad for SMP. Think of the griefers, I mean just imagine of a server where the admins were gone for say 15 mins. a squadron of 5 griefers couble come by and be untouchable in the sky shooting tnt that explode on impact. Even worse what if they found the server's main city. Massive griefage, massive cassulties, massive property damage, massive nuisance.
*tip*: Before suggesting something that involves tnt for SMP think about what would happen if griefers got a hold of it.
okay i thought of that after i posted. but ever heard of world guard? if a greifer trys to build or take something from a protected area it just respawns, or if they tnt it the blocks reappear
Methinks that if it'd be better if the planes didn't actually have the capability to shoot arrows, but the passenger -those two seater planes that are suppose to come in v4?- could shoot arrows.
It'd make for interesting dog fights, to say the least.

This is an AWESOME mod! No major complaints at all, but a nice aethstetic feature would be the plane tilting when you turn. It would also be nice to have Modloader V5 support, I wanna use shelves :smile.gif:
Ewww, a resident evil fanbase that takes after the movie.
ewwwwweyy!
Off Topic: Incorrect dear chap, we're all about the originals, I'm a die-hard fan but I friggin' hate the movies. It's a shame that they have a good font to use though.
You're banner says otherwise quoting a movie specific slogan that they game never used at all. Which is why I said ewww.
One thing I know is RE cannon and several hours worth of viral document investigation. Their concepts are great, so I knowz resident evil.
OT: I'd love to see helicopters in here too :happy.gif:
Pchan, the creator of the Steampunk Airship (see link in my sig) is currently working on a gyrocopter, which will probably function similarly to a normal helicopter.

On Topic: I've been flying around for a bit, there are a few things this mod needs:
1. Altimeter (in blocks/meters/whatever (I'd prefer feet but meh))
2. Artificial Horizon - It can be deceiving as to how level you're really flying so this would be win
3. Airspeed Indicator (in knots :biggrin.gif:)
4. (if poss) Lights for nighttime flights :biggrin.gif:
So, what your saying is we need a cockpit? Thats a great idea!
For more planes-
A plane that shoots arrows would be nice. On when crafting a wing, as shown here

In the middle, we would put a dispenser, and then we would have a arrow plane. When the user presses a key, we go into both dispensers, and put the arrows in... So lets say i have dispenser wings, i would press the U key, while looking at the plane. A dispenser screen would pop up, and i could insert arrows.

It would be cool to see and use a gyrocopter. But it would be awesome for either of these to be used in multiplayer.
My airports are waiting. :smile.gif:
How improper is it to fly the hostile and bitter skies in your aircraft wearing that old leather or iron armor?
Very improper indeed. What you need young man is the proper attire to go with that amazing craft. Sail the skies in style like the pilots of old with the traditional leather flight jacket with a winged skull on back to strike fear in your enemies. Protect your head with the traditional leather helmet and goggles and throw in a scarf and tall leather boots for good measure.
This was created for those who use 32x32 textures, but it may or may not work for those who use the default 16x16.

Looks great! You wouldn't happen to have any icons for it, would you? Might want to replace the vanilla ones on the item sheet.

CRUD! I didn't even think about that. I was so caught up with looking snazzy while raining death from above that I missed it totally. Guess I'll have to update that ( I"m a newby ).
To persiankid400: I may try to do that later on, but it may be awhile.
Well uhm.. I went ahead and got it working. Sort of. I'm not sure what's wrong, nothing I have installed is taking control of w,a,s,d at all. yet for some reason.. I can get in the plane, I can even push it on the ground. But it won't start. Props just stay still, and the plane never moves! No crashes, no incompatibility warnings, nothing bad. Everything works perfect so far, except that I just built this awesome plane statue that does nothing. :sad.gif: Any ideas? It's hard to troubleshoot when nothing throws any errors. :sad.gif:

Could you not be sorry for light wood people?
Fair enough
Think fast! What's Nemesis made from? Mr. RE fan..
