    Check the folders. If you see a duplicate folder with the name of the pack (for example, extracting WWII pack gives you a folder called "WWII pack", and it contains a README and a "WWII pack" folder, which actually has the contents.) place that folder into Flan, and your woes should be over.

    Trust me, I've had that problem before:

    *places folder into Flan folder*
    "Okay! Let's test!"
    *starts testing world*
    "...What the..."
    *quits game. checks folder.*
    "Oh! That's the problem. Derp."

    Also you were right about the boxes problem, but when i go into those files it only gives you that boxes individual ID which is 150-something. It wont let you edit the weapon boxes ID itself in those files (which is the conflicting ID - 4093). The only other file that involves these weapon boxes is in the actual flans mod for Minecraft, and the file in there that involves weapon boxes is full of coding.

    Perhaps you're opening the file in word or something? The best way to go is to open it in a raw text editor (such as notepad), since the file is a .cfg. Generally this will give you the proper format. Otherwise, there should be a program somewhere that can open it properly.

    I couldn't see if this issue was addressed, and I'm posting it on the other mod's site for total coverage of the issue. I tried to load the Planes with Forestry and there seems to be an item conflict error between the two. I'm not very good at scripting so I can't identify the actual item id error if that is the problem. I am wanting to add some additional mods then the ones I'm loading so will report as needed. Any advice from anyone that has run across this problem and maybe have a fix would be great. Otherwise, just wanting to let it be known for future development or current development fix. Both me and my friend have been wanting to work with this mod and I became very excited when I saw that it is now utilizing forge.     Ello, I like playing Minecraft backwards, left mouse key to place, and right to destroy. So the prob. is I can't youse mounted guns because when I click to fire it exits me out of the gun. Can someone help me change this? :D

    I need help. I installed the content packs correctly (placed them in the mods folder) but they still don't work. I only get the vehicle crafting blocks and the team stuff. Do I install the content packs differently?

    Also what file are you in - is there an actual file in flans mod called config (because i cant find one) or are you in the blockgunbox file?

    so far, the modern weapons work for me
    i still need to try the others

    and are you sure you put them correctly?
    you have to download Flans mod, put that into .minecraft/mods , then make a new folder called "Flan" and add content packs into that folder then it should work!

    I use TextEdit - the mac version of notepad.

    anyway, that file is FlansMod.cfg in the config folder.

    Forge have modloader integrated into it (the latest versions, Im not sure when this was first implemented tho) so you dont need to worry about that anymore :) hope this helps
