I wanted to make a candyland too, so I did typed the code and it said I misused it.
How'd you do it?
Can you do it in Single Player?
Or are those commands only in SMP?
Hey, I installed on my macbook (running OS X 10.6.6) and have a slight problem. I was testing out basic commands, and after selecting a region and filling it I tried to expand it up. The expand command will not work. Neither will walls.
I'm using it in single player by the way
Here is what I used in game
//pos1
//hpos2
//set 1
//expand 10 up
EDIT: tried //outline and all it does is fill in the area as if i was using //set

The WorldEdit version information can be found in plugin.yml or META-INF/MANIFEST.MF of WorldEdit.jar. The new versions are compatible with SPC but a number of the new features don't work yet until SPC is updated (which will be soon from what I know). However, you can update WorldEdit separately.
The latest version of WE will print its version on first use.
Here are the new additions since the version distributed with SPC. The new tree types will only work once SPC updates.
Version 3.0:
[*:36o67opx]Added /searchitem or //l command to lookup items and block by name and ID.
[*:36o67opx]Added block data cycling super pickaxe tool. (/cycler)
[*:36o67opx]Added //paste [-ao] syntax to paste without air and at origin.
[*:36o67opx]Added support for //stack [-a] to not stack air.
[*:36o67opx]Added the ability to configure the schematic and CraftScript directories.
[*:36o67opx]Added better support for cake, added some more block/item aliases.
[*:36o67opx]Added support for rotation block orientation with the rotate and flip commands (now stairs, torches, etc. will rotate correctly).
[*:36o67opx]Added distance to //size.
[*:36o67opx]Added more brush shapes (hollow sphere, cylinder, hollow cylinder, and clipboard) for the brush tools.
[*:36o67opx]Added in a valid block ID check.
[*:36o67opx]Added debugging information for when no snapshots could be found.
[*:36o67opx]Added pattern support to //overlay (i.e. //overlay 3%torch,97%air).
[*:36o67opx]Added a clipboard pattern (//set #clipboard) useful for repeating patterns over an area.
[*:36o67opx]Changed the arm swing tools to also work on right click.
[*:36o67opx]Improved block drop list (thanks to Gunther De Wachter).
[*:36o67opx]Fixed scripting.timeout setting taking no effect.
[*:36o67opx]Fixed group checking with Permissions.
[*:36o67opx]Moved commands around in the code and added hierarchical permissions support in the process. All permission systems supported by WorldEdit (and utilizing plugins) support hierarchy, regardless if they really do or not. WorldEdit will simulate hierarchy as required.
Version 3.1:
[*:36o67opx]Added more tree generators. /tree [type] and /forestgen [size] [type] [density] are the new commands.
Version 3.2:
[*:36o67opx]Fixed /forestgen having an incorrect number of maximum arguments.
[*:36o67opx]Re-added Sun Rhino implementation as a separate library bundled in during creation of the .jar.
[*:36o67opx]Unified file selection and checking API.
[*:36o67opx]Fixed CraftScripts not properly loading files from the current working directory as defined by the implementation.
[*:36o67opx]Enabled queue on EditSessions given to scripts.
[*:36o67opx]Improved draw.js to be more user friendly.
[*:36o67opx]Fixed /forestgen having an incorrect number of maximum arguments.
[*:36o67opx]Fixed /removenear not taking a default size argument.
[*:36o67opx]Improved overall performance.
Im having issues where the replenish coommand has no effect and the //set command doesn't work, if I put a "//set1" Nothing will come up but if I don't put a 1 it will say something like numeral required, I didn't have these issues untill I updated it, I even deleted every trace of minecraft from my computer and re-downloaded it and the mod and im still having issues, please help.
As sk89q is currently offline I will give a quick update:
A new version of SPC has been released and all the commands which previously didn't work, should be working now. It comes packaged with WorldEdit 3.2.2.

Yeah, I'm still figuring out why.
I will look into it.
Check out my Minecraft server.
Nothing is working in SMP, even when I preface things with //worldedit.
I should note I'm not an OP on the server I tried this on. What's wrong?
Does it say it started up correctly in console in SMP? Are you using Bukkit?
