To install for 1.6.2 in just a couple of easy steps,
1. Download Magic Launcher. http://www.minecraft...-profiles-news/
2. Make sure to select the environment to 1.6.2, if not, force update a new minecraft json and jar file for 1.6.2.
3. Download Single Player Commands. Save it in a folder that you want it in. (e.g. documents)
4. Click the "Add" button on Magic Launcher, and find Single Player Commands in one of the folders you saved it in. Add Single Player Commands in directly from where you downloaded it. Do not unzip it.
5. Enjoy!
i finally got it working using this thank you but the wand doesn't work is there a fix for this
LOL.. Just start over (delete your .minecraft) Run the launcher once with 1.6.2 to get a fresh version file, then quit game. Now download and run the latest 'installer' version of forge. Once installed just select 'new profile' and select version '1.6.2forge9.10.0xxx' then guive it a name and run the game once to make sure forge is there and working. Again quit game. then open your .minecraft folder and select 'versions' folder and open, then open the 1.6.2forge9.10.0xxxx folder. and open the jar (7zip/winrar) and place the extracted files (not world edit) directly into it. Then go back to the .minecraft folder (where assets, mods, saves, libraries, etc are) and create a new folder and name it 'bin'. Open this new 'bin' folder and put world edit into it. Then close. Then go back to the launcher and select your new named forge profile and 'edit profile' and add your JVM arguments and save. Run the game. This should work. If not you'll have tpo post the crash in spoilers for someone to really help further. Good luck
Ecstatic to see this mod fully operational again, with even some improvement on a few commands! i have one question though. on the /i command (or /give), the command no longer accepts an item name. e.g., /i dirt yields "unable to find item: dirt. However, /i 3 works just fine (3 being dirt's item ID). any chance of seeing the command recognize items by their names again rather than just their ID's?
HELP ! ! !
I can copy the files into my new .jar file, but it says to put the WorldEdit.jar into the bin folder.
Please tell me i'm not that stupid? There is no bin folder to put it in???

One more request, like this please.
Hello, this is one of my favorite mods and I'm so glad it's available for 1.6.2.
Everything is great until I try to load a world, where it hangs on "Loading World." The only thing I found odd was that in Forge, it said SPC was version 1.0.
My setup:
MacBook Air, OS X 10.8.4
Minecraft 1.6.2
Forge 9.10.0.789 (Recommended version for 1.6.2)
Mods (only mods I have are on Forge): TooManyItems, Biomes O' Plenty, Millénaire
Here are the steps I took. I included as many details as I could think of, including a possible crash report on the launcher.
Steps:
1. Downloaded and unzipped SPC version 4.9 for MC 1.6.2
2. Backed up Forge Folder
3. Renamed version folder to 1.6.2-ForgeSPC
4. Renamed .jar to 1.6.2-ForgeSPC.jar
5. Renamed .json to 1.6.2-ForgeSPC.json
6. Text inside .json renamed to 1.6.2-ForgeSPC
7. Changed 1.6.2-ForgeSPC.jar to 1.6.2-ForgeSPC.zip
8. Unzipped 1.6.2-ForgeSPC.zip
9. Deleted Mojang_C files in META-INF folder
10. Dragged all items except WorldEdit.jar into 1.6.2-ForgeSPC folder (clicked yes to replace all items, all .class items were replaced, no folders).
11. Selected all files in versions/1.6.2-ForgeSPC/1.6.2-ForgeSPC modded folder and compressed to .zip file. (the Mac thing you have to do, otherwise it crashes on launch)
12. Moved Archive.zip file to versions/1.6.2-ForgeSPC folder
13. Renamed Archive.zip to 1.6.2-ForgeSPC.jar
14. Deleted /1.6.2-ForgeSPC/1.6.2-ForgeSPC modded folder
15. Created /bin folder in /minecraft
16. Put WorldEdit.jar into /minecraft/bin folder
17. Ran vanilla launcher
18. Selected new profile with 1.6.2-ForgeSPC version
19. Added "-Dfml.ignoreInvalidMinecraftCertificates=true -Dfml.ignorePatchDiscrepancies=true" (without quotes) into JVM arguments (crashed without it)
20. Launched Minecraft successfully
In Minecraft:
1. Forge loads, and lists 7 mods active, including "Single Player Commands." However, it says 1.0 instead of 4.9. Is this significant?
2. Loading any world: new, old, modded biomes, regular biomes, etc. all leads to a hang on the "Loading World" (existing world) or "Converting World" (creating a new one)
This happened with both Forge and Vanilla.
When I had to force quit, I did find this report:
From Launcher upon force quit of Minecraft:

Any help with this would be great! I almost can't live without this in creative mode!
YOU have to create it!
Just add a folder to "*\.minecraft" (my XP path = C:\Documents and Settings\Owner\Application Data\.minecraft - yours will be different if not an XP), name it bin.
Lou
Psst - Right click "Start", then click "Explore". *\.minecraft is there somewhere.
We're in 100% agreement for 1.5.2 and below (although I prefer SKMCLauncher). 1.6.1 and up Magic causes problems for me and arbitrarily does whatever it wants. If you've just spent 3 days of work Magic may not be your friend.
Lou
Well, it works fine for me. Do you have any other mods installed? That could be the reason why it dosen't work for you.
I tried my best to explain all the steps.
Read step 11 and use whatever is applicable.

Everything is great until I try to load a world, where it hangs on "Loading World." The only thing I found odd was that in Forge, it said SPC was version 1.0.
My setup:
MacBook Air, OS X 10.8.4
Minecraft 1.6.2
Forge 9.10.0.789 (Recommended version for 1.6.2)
Mods (only mods I have are on Forge): TooManyItems, Biomes O' Plenty, Millénaire
Here are the steps I took. I included as many details as I could think of, including a possible crash report on the launcher.
Steps:
1. Downloaded and unzipped SPC version 4.9 for MC 1.6.2
2. Backed up Forge Folder
3. Renamed version folder to 1.6.2-ForgeSPC
4. Renamed .jar to 1.6.2-ForgeSPC.jar
5. Renamed .json to 1.6.2-ForgeSPC.json
6. Text inside .json renamed to 1.6.2-ForgeSPC
7. Changed 1.6.2-ForgeSPC.jar to 1.6.2-ForgeSPC.zip
8. Unzipped 1.6.2-ForgeSPC.zip
9. Deleted Mojang_C files in META-INF folder
10. Dragged all items except WorldEdit.jar into 1.6.2-ForgeSPC folder (clicked yes to replace all items, all .class items were replaced, no folders).
11. Selected all files in versions/1.6.2-ForgeSPC/1.6.2-ForgeSPC modded folder and compressed to .zip file. (the Mac thing you have to do, otherwise it crashes on launch)
12. Moved Archive.zip file to versions/1.6.2-ForgeSPC folder
13. Renamed Archive.zip to 1.6.2-ForgeSPC.jar
14. Deleted /1.6.2-ForgeSPC/1.6.2-ForgeSPC modded folder
15. Created /bin folder in /minecraft
16. Put WorldEdit.jar into /minecraft/bin folder
17. Ran vanilla launcher
18. Selected new profile with 1.6.2-ForgeSPC version
19. Added "-Dfml.ignoreInvalidMinecraftCertificates=true -Dfml.ignorePatchDiscrepancies=true" (without quotes) into JVM arguments (crashed without it)
20. Launched Minecraft successfully
In Minecraft:
1. Forge loads, and lists 7 mods active, including "Single Player Commands." However, it says 1.0 instead of 4.9. Is this significant?
2. Loading any world: new, old, modded biomes, regular biomes, etc. all leads to a hang on the "Loading World" (existing world) or "Converting World" (creating a new one)
This happened with both Forge and Vanilla.
When I had to force quit, I did find this report:
From Launcher upon force quit of Minecraft:
Launcher 1.1.2 (through bootstrap 4) started on osx...

Any help with this would be great! I almost can't live without this in creative mode!
Or, check out my project of arranging C418's soundtrack for a cappella voices (and maybe more)
Had the same problem, found this answer:
Well, it works fine for me. Do you have any other mods installed? That could be the reason why it dosen't work for you.
