Anyone else unable to download this mod? I have tried prefered and alternate for both automatic and manual and it still wont download. Just gives the error unable to download. Am I the only one with this problem?
Looks to me like a Forge/FML error. All of the classes being flagged in your error report look to be from Forge.
Since you're obviously on a Mac, I have to ask... did you delete the "Meta-Inf" folder, instead of ~just~ the "Mojang_c files", as per the instructions on the main page?
You'll need to go into some details as to your installation method, so that the next person on, to see your error log, can give you help getting this working. As I'm not a Mac user, nor a Forge/FML user, I'm not going to be able to help you further with this.
This is actually caused by trying to use Smart Moving/Player API with SPC -
PlayerAPI is currently *NOT* compatible with SinglePlayerCommands.
I'm really interested in this mod, and I'd really love to use it. I've just been having trouble installing it. I tried using the automatic installer, but i can't seem to find the .jar file that it says to click on to run the installer. the download included worldedit.jar file, a few other folders, two class files, etc. If someone could help me find this .jar file, I'd be really thankful. - - - Thanks!
I think you downloaded the manual version. If what you downloaded ends in .zip you got the manual version.
Try again.
Both *.class files & the folder go in the MC.jar.
The worldedit.jar belongs in the minecraft\bin.
The readme is there for you to read!

It's a problem with your anti-virus, nothing to do with SPC.
did you remove some of the commands because when i try to use some off the old commands it says its not a command and when i do help the old commands is not there. like /spawner list and /spawner does not work any more.
please help.
(i miss some off the old commands)

Several commands from 1.2.5 and earlier have been broken for a long time now... the first post has been changed to reflect the commands that are still working. Sadly, Spawner was one of the broken commands.
And... I'm not sure what you mean with that last part. Clarify?
This mod doesn't seem to work for me. I installed it exactly how the first page said, but it's acting as though it's not there. I even put the WorldEdit.jar into the mods folder as well as the bin folder.
Try a restart with a minimal world.
I suggest you remove it from the mods folder.

2 *.class files and a folder in the MC.jar?
Yes there was a patch for it, it's currently only available for SPC for Minecraft 1.3.2 though.
Depending on how much free time I have, I might just do a Forge port of SPC.

I think my post was completely ignored, so I ask again, does WorldEditor commands work with 1.4.5 SPC? Because my //brush commands don't work and give that "Unknown command, type /help for list of commands". And I have WorldEditor.jar on .minecraft/bin and everything else inside that zip at minecraft.jar
-wazaa
It's not that you're being ignored... it's that I don't think people have an answer for you. Brush commands have been pretty buggy (check previous pages, and you'll see ~lots~ of people mention it) for some time. As I have never used //brush... I honestly don't know how it's supposed to be working, or if it's even working. Other WorldEdit commands, however, DO work.
If I use the Command "/time set day" from the Minecraft build-in commands it works, but if I add this command to a command block, nothing happens when it's activated. Only deinstalling SPC helps to get it working again :-(
This is a known, and persistent, problem. Command Blocks require the vanilla commands to function... but SPC re-writes most of these commands for it's own purposes. The majority of Command Block commands won't work, while you're using SPC.

I am doing a manual install and I can't figure out what to do with the following files:
ayk.class
iq.class
Following is the directory of the SPC zip file:
/com
WorldEdit.jar
ayk.class
iq.class
readme.txt
Reading the readme.txt and manual instructions at the start of this thread:
Manual Installation
1. Go to the minecraft bin directory and backup minecraft.jar
2. Using 7zip or equally capable ZIP viewer open minecraft.jar
3. Delete the META-INF folder
4. Copy the "com" directory contained within the mod to minecraft.jar, replacing the existing one.
Note: The SPCInstall.JAR can be opened up the same way as Minecraft.jar and you can install the mod manually by dragging the files from there into Minecraft.jar as you usually would.
5. Close minecraft.jar
6. Copy ALL the ".jar" files, ie: WorldEdit.jar contained within the mod to the minecraft/bin directory (the same directory as minecraft.jar)
Nothing is mentioned about the "ayk.class" or "iq.class" files.
Are they optional files? If so what do they do?
If not optional, then where do they go?
Okay, I replaced Forge with Modloader, did a bunch of switching around of stuff, and I got it working now. I had to turn off Smart Movement completely, but that's fine because I only used it as a temporary replacement for the /setspeed command in SPC, so I don't need both. Also GUI API seems to need Forge--in my current MagicLauncher setup, there's an error message next to it that says "No Forge". But I don't quite recall what GUI API is even needed for, and so far I don't see any errors from it.
It seems the overall problem I was having was using Forge. When I uploaded TO 1.3.2, there was the whole thing about how Forge includes Modloader in it so you can't use both at the same time, and the setup that got all the stuff I had working, it had me using Forge. That was pretty confusing to figure out back then, so I didn't want to re-learn from the start which basic utility-mods to use & how to install them & in what order, unless I had to. I don't know if it's SPC that's changed in the new version to not work with Forge, or if Forge changed in such a way that it's not the better of the 2 to use, but either way I've got a working setup now.
Thank you LoRaM100 for helping me finally locate the problem & fix it. I'd give you some diamonds or emeralds if I knew how to (or what purposed it served), but anyway I hope "Thanks" will suffice.

I'm not a huge Forge fan... I've seen Modders break their backs to be Forge compliant only to have a later version negate all the work that they did. And forge changes constantly. I needed Forge with 1.2.5 for DynamicElevators and RedPower. DynamicElevators have changed authorship again and I don't like what I see. Eloraam I love but have been without RP for so long I may just let that go too.
I miss my world edit, and better lan just out right refuses to work with saving chunk errors... and running a bukket server says ports in use, when a tekkit server that also uses bukkit works fine (but 1.2.5) and default server runs fine.
Don't even bring up mcedit, that dumb thing wont show any changes made unless I save, close, reopen.. edit, save close reopen.. insanely annoying..
Yeah.. I miss my world edit and with out it, two of my custom maps can't be updated at all.
There needs to be a SSP mod that is aimed to JUST load world edit. I think that is mostly what everyone that uses SPC uses it for to be honest.

Works just fine. Are you making sure to use the: "/give <item> <quantity>" format?

These forums are dumb and break my links. I'm bubbleawsome on steam too.
