You did start with clean jar right? After you removed Balkons Weapon Mod. The mod modifies the MC.jar, you must replace and rebuild the MC.jar to remove any mod unless it's installed in the mods folder.
You might find MagicLauncher or SKMCLauncher useful. I prefer sk89q's but both work. SPC is my first mod then Risu's ModLoader or Forge (only check one of these, I've added both). Additional mods are installed in no particular order and can be moved up, down, or disabled if I have a problem.
I do install the WorldEdit.jar in the /bin but that may not be required. It's just on old habit that I've continued.

You're welcome to PM me if you need help with SK's.
A Mod placed in Risu's ModLoader mods folder, doesn't make any permanent changes to the MC.jar. I don't know about Forge.
Sadly using a clean copy of minecraft with spc only did not work. Didn't work with forge either

Rename your mods folder mods2, and try a clean MC.jar (without Forge or Risu), auto install SPC.
If that doesn't work make a copy of *.minecraft to a new directory; then delete the entire contents of *.minecraft and restart. You'll need your your user name and password. Auto install SPC and test. If good copy your MC.jar somewhere, add Forge and test. If good copy your MC.jar and install the next mod and test. Continue until all your mods except weapons is installed. Make sure you have a copy of the working MC.jar BEFORE you try the Weapons Mod, if something goes south you can always copy the last working MC.jar back to the *.minecraft/bin and you've lost nothing but time.
i think i am more patient for that then you i can hear that weeks months even years before i collapse
(i think that i writed this in some way incorrect if thats so more knowledge of the language, i must be learn)
but a tip if you feel its becoming too much for you to handle then i suggest that you do something else for the rest of the day and trie to build it up from 1hour to how much you do it normaly (you can do it 30min. as well that helps a little bit more)
hope this helps
and sorry if i wrote some things incorrect i just have a bad day today my focus isnt good and i feel tired i think my cold is taking too much energy from me.

Patience is something I actually have a lot of, no choice being a former Adult Computer Teacher (just try and teach some 70 year olds to use a computer - I would rather teach kids) and then I went to do time as a forum admin for another game for quite a long time (which the rules of the forum are even more restrictive than here - that will test you)...
Thats why I got out of the posting game for a few years and until recently didn't post much - burnout from posters not a) reading the rules not searching c) just not reading period (LoRaM said it best that I think many people just want the answer given, and not have to work for it).
But I've let loose a bit here in the SPC thread because Simo deserves more, both in time and personal downtime - but I want to be a help to those with legit issues and not get hung up on the 'broken command posts', so sometimes its just better to take the day off
If you create a Mod and post it here, what page and post number would it be?
When you find it, take 3 minutes and READ the installation instructions. This is different than most.
Take a couple of more minutes and read the release details please.
Is this forge friendly? I cant get any of the commands to work on single player survival mode. It just tells me the default commands like /help, /me, ect.
When I use the sphere brush, I occasionally get this error:

The Minecraft Forum can be described as a "bunch of crazy people all disagreeing with each other"
After I copy the selected blocks with the wand tool i want to save a schematic and I keep getting an error
please report this error [see console]
java.lang.NullPointerException: Null
i've tried //schematic save towers
and //schematic save mce towers
still get the same error. I don't know what it is talking about regarding the console I am not using it on a server; just on my computer with minecraft loaded in single player
Hi I was hoping someone could help me with something.
While I was waiting for the new update I started to use the TMI mod as well as Modloader. After the SPC update was out, I quickly downloaded it and installed it with no problems during installation. However, I noticed that Minecraft had developed quite a considberable lag that it never had before. It made playing the game a little annoying so I went to remove the SPC files in hopes it would fix the issue and it didn't and I had to start a fresh .jar to get rid of all mods. So I'm assuming there's some sort of conflict with the mods I already had on my computer and SPC.
Does anyone think installing the mods in a different order would help eliminate the lag? Say I install SPC, then TMI, then Modloader? Since I don't have the patience to try 6 different ways, I was hoping someone here could help.
Thanks!

You should try Magic Launcher. I use it without any problems and use an HD texture pack with no lag at all. And I don't have a good PC either. I'm currently running 10 mods inclcuding TMI, SPC, modloader, forge, and some other mods. And with magic launcher you can set them in any order you want until they all work fine. Try it!

They all work here, with both Risu's and Forge (don't enable both of them at the same time).
I use both SKMCLauncher (preferred) and MagicLauncher, move SPC (manual version) to the top of the list then the ModLoader of your choice, and any additional Mods. I from habit add WorldEdit.jar to the *.minecraft/bin, that may or may not be required.

Has anyone else noticed "Cheats" arbitrarily turn themselves off?
It's fairly simple to re-enable in LAN but I'm curious.
What version of Worldedit does this use and does it include all of the functions of world edit as it has done in the past? im asking because i cant seem to get custom scripts to work.
For some reason it won't stay installed. I install it on a (non-SPC) jar and it runs a few times, then acts like I never had SPC installed. I've tried running the installer multiple times, installing again on a backup, but nothing works.

If anyone wants to port/remake this, feel free to do that! Or don't. It's up to you, really.
Yep
I could be wrong (please don't let that get around, it'll be our little secret). Please us know if that was it.

Thanks

Nevermind, stupid mistake.
But I have another problem, I keep getting frame skips when this mod is installed, with optifine. Is there a way to fix this?
