I wonder how this works standing in water with a block beneath then fire jets beneath that and i burnt along with my stuff on the server. Minecraft logic XD
I re-added the GUI API file to the coremods folder after deleting the files that were in there as well as the files that were in the mods folder and then re-added the GUI API file and the mods to their respective folders. I made sure that the GUI API was being sent into the coremods folder and the mods were going to the mods folder. I got this error:

DrZhark, a few days ago, I saw that Minecraft will be using horses from this mod. Though, I saw that there are some horses that they are lacking from this mod, also like the pegasus, unicorn, etc. Is it possible that this mod can be added to 1.6 as an extension to the horses and with the addition of the original mod with all its features? Sorry, I'm not sure if this has been an answered question.
They are talking about the Official Mo' Creatures server.... There is nothing they can do themselves about it, which is why they are posting here asking that Zhark or someone else in charge can find a way to solve it, since we as players cannot.
Dr Zhark, I love your work, I really do. Mo' creatures is my favorite mod and I thank you for making it! But something has been bugging me for a while now. You can't just make an awesome model, make the animations, find sounds for a new creature, allow it to use essences, carry bags, let it be ridable and armorable, and call it a new creature, the most recent thing like this is the new wyverns. I think they should all have something new about them.
For example, I posted my idea about wyvern fire and mist a while back. Take a look at it:
I have an idea for the Wyverns. Pressing G (Which can be changed as it is the default) allows the Wyvern to breathe fire, but jungle and savannah dragons will breathe healing mist, so do not mist your foes! The mother Wyverns essence transformations allows for a different fire/mist. The undead Wyvern poisons foes, the darkness Wyvern withers foes, the fire Wyvern breathes a harsher fire, and light Wyvern can breathe sun fire, which is as strong as the fire dragons fire (By pressing G), and can also make healing mist called water of light (By pressing H, only for this light Wyvern). Thank you for reading and I hope to see this in a future update!
Do you guys get what I mean? Each ridable/tameable animal needs to have perks! Otherwise there is no point in taming them!
Elephants were a good example, they are different and have new perks!
If you were planning on adding new things to tameable animals, ignore this.
Thanks for reading and good luck making the mod!
Isn't being able to armor and ride the animal enough of a perk? There are animals out there that you can tame that don't do anything but look nice in your yard.... I don't think anything more needs to be added to the ride-able animals, as they are already full of perks.
Armor them, ride them, some even can carry inventories. Others you can transform into other things... sounds like plenty of perks to me.
Also making it so that they wyverns can breathe some kind of "fire" or "healing mist" sounds like it'd be more geared for a SMP game than anything. And with that breathing of "fire" or "healing mist" would come more work of trying to figure out how that "fire" wouldn't hurt other players on a non-pvp server without a pvp-enabled zone. Right now the big-cats on rope only attack what attacks you or what you are able to attack, and this prevents those roped big cats from killing off players in a non-pvp environment.
Oh, one more thing... The Wyvern's carry inventories if you apply them... Not to mention that the Mother Wyverns are not only bigger and can be transformed into more things, but also fly faster than the original Wyverns.... Is that not enough of a difference, or "perk" to have one of those instead of an original Wyvern? Also it seems to be more of a status thing, because they are rare! Again, another sort of perk if you play SMP.

don't extract what's in the GuiAPI jar file... Just drop the jar file into the coremods folder and you're good to go.

Try updating java, and then try updating Forge. Yes I hate to sound like one of those people, but I have personally found that the 684 version of Forge doesn't always agree with what MoC is asking of it lately. Try something higher. I know I posted a link to the Forge download list page on a recent post...
Try the latest releast... That would be 710. Click the "universal" link and try that one.

1 : min number to spawn

You are very right. Some tameable animals are useless, that is what I'm talking about. But my problem is the ridable animals, besides wyverns being awesome looking, they are EXACTLY the same as pegasuses/fairy horses. I guess what I'm trying to say is that ostriches, horses and wyverns are almost the exact same thing, horses are sadly the superior due to the fact they can be put into amulets.
I'm not saying I don't like the armor/ect. I love that! Its just that there doesn't need to be more than 1 of almost the same animal. This doesn't mean I want the other animals to go at all! I simply wish for them to be different!
Giving wyverns essences doesn't do anything, if you give a wyvern an essence of light, it lays an egg.
The light wyvern is SLIGHTLY faster than the mother wyvern, seriously, that's it.
Otherwise the essences make them look different, that's about it. Correct me if I'm wrong, if you wish.
Now, I have very little knowledge of coding, but maybe the fire actually comes out of the player, but only while riding a wyvern and it appears to come out of the wyvern. This makes it count as PVP and therefore unable to hurt other players if desired.
Healing mist can work on pets, animals, players or even mobs, so I think it would be usefull in SSP, too.
Or, maybe wyvern fire can be disabled on servers and single player games.
I didn't mean to sound mean and if I did, I'm sorry.

I'm sorry, I just don't see the need for these animals to have to do anything "special" to be better... They're perfect just the way they are. They are designed to give variety, to allow players to have unique mounts and goals to obtain some of the rarer/harder to get ones. If this is not enough for you or anyone else, I feel you are failing to see the reason for multiple types of creatures or features they individually offer. No, wyverns are not like horses.. Can you safely ride a wyven into combat and walk away with your own hide and theirs? Not really... I could do this with my bat-horse however, and I'm sure I could do it with any other type of horse model, special or not.
By the way, only a very few of the horses can carry an inventory.. All the wyverns can.
And just because some of the rarer/harder to obtain horses can be put into amulets, doesn't make them superior. I feel the Wyvern are superior, and not just because they are newer or are dragons in the mod but because they are harder to obtain, take quite a bit of more work and organization, time and patience to gather than any of the rarer horses. I got my paws on a bat horse within the first 4 hours tops of installing this mod, a wyvern however, took me quite a bit of time and resources to gather to first get to the lair with the confidence that I could survive the hours I expected to spend in there. While I was in there, I lost the armor I had spent hours collecting materials for, my weapon nearly broke and I think I recall dying a few times... Killed 30+ Wyvern before I got my very first egg...
Just because you can't DO something more with a ride able/tameable beast, doesn't make them any better or any less worth than any other creature. The variety is there for preference, and preference alone. There is no need for them to have more of a purpose, and if you're looking for a "reason" to tame them or obtain them, then perhaps you shouldn't have them in the first place?
ALSO, this is not the thread to be making suggestions on. There is a completely separate thread for that. This thread is for crashes, bugs and errors. Or discussing how wonderful or distasteful (yes there have been a few) you find this mod. Try posting your suggestion on the other thread instead of trying to push it here...

Yeah, I guess you're right. Variety is nice, and the ability to say "I got a wyvern legitimate" is pretty nice. Its the same as an enderdragon, you don't get much from it, but its cool and fun. If you thought I was one of those 'ANIMALS ARE USELESS UNLESS THEY BENEFIT MEEEE' people, I'm not, I love animals. Makes me kinda sad that I don't get any status from wyverns because I don't really play SMP.
But my wants are not needed if no one else thinks its a good idea.
Also, I had putting my suggestion in the suggest-a-creature forum, but it doesn't get noticed, ever.
But... You seem to think that I'm saying I don't like this mod, that is not the case. I am grateful that Dr Zhark makes these awesome models. He is the best mod maker IMO. Sorry if I made you mad or anything, that was not my intention.
Also, for a tip for getting materials for the wyvern lair, kill diamond golems, they really aren't as hard as you think.

Because why not put the RPG test thing on my signature?
I posted about the Ticking Entity issue Twice in this thread and have been thoroughly ignored. Sadly,Mo's one my favorite mods.
This is most definitely a server-side issue. I have as of yet have not been able to install it without issue on my server, yet strangely enough, it works on single player.
I found out the reason for my error... Because I use a launcher, and my launcher is rather particular about things sometimes... I simply had the order of the mods wrong. I use magic launcher, and having Mo' Creatures immediately after the required mods and optifine it was causing my tick...
This is what I had:
Forge
optifine
GuiAPI
Custom Mob Spawner
Mo' Creatures
Extra Biomes
Biomes o plenty
Twightlight Forest
(everything else)
What I needed to have it listed like:
Forge
optifine
GuiAPI
Custom Mob Spawner
Extra Biomes
Biomes o plenty
Twightlight Forest
Mo' Creatures
(everything else)
I'm not sure how you've got things installed, if you use a launcher or if you've hard installed and used the folders in the minecraft generated folder... However, if you are using a launcher, try what i did. It might solve your issue?
Heck, even if you don't use a launcher, why not try reordering the folders in the mods folders in the minecraft folder? Though that's kinda silly when I think about it, since you can reorder files in folders by right clicking, etc etc

While it's true that this isn't the place for suggestions, for what it's worth I actually do like your suggestions. It's true that the variants provide quite a bit of differences between creatures, but having individual abilities or other perks that are exclusive to specific variants would add an entirely new level of variety to the mod. Armor and the ability to ride an animal is nice, but that doesn't outright mean that further additions or features would be unnecessary or unwelcome.
Don't let people discourage you. If you have a suggestion, then it's worth suggesting. Other people may agree or disagree, but ultimately it falls to Dr. Zhark to decide what is and isn't worthy of being implemented.

Download GUI API from that post. You'll download a .jar file. That file goes into coremods, there's no extracting involved. I'm not entirely sure what's happening on your side, but something isn't happening correctly as it literally is as simple as dragging and dropping the .jar file into your coremods directory.

Can someone help me?
Will this mod ever support non-MCPatcher texture packs?
Or is this a Better-Than-Wolves-style "screw you!" to all users of Forge mods?
Things are better when they're things.

There are foxes and wolves already in the game... Foxes are tameable with turkey and wolves are hostile at night type mobs.

I can't drag and drop the API GUI folder into the coremods folder. . . If I do, WinRaR just winds up opening the API GUI download. Not in the coremods, just the API GUI download. So I have a TON of folders that wind up showing up. I have to extract the files in order to get them into the coremods folder. :/ These are what I end up extracting into the folder:
de(folder)
javax(folder)
META-INF(folder)
org(folder)
sharose(folder)
xml-pull(folder)
front.fnt
font_00.png
mcmod.info
scrollwindow.png
twlGuiTheme.xml
twlGuiThemeIndentedbuttons.png
o-o Every video I watch has someone just putting one file into the coremods, not a bunch of files.
