I can't seem to give the Essence of Light to a Bat Horse to make a Black Pegasus. I've gotten as high as 170 and it still won't take it. Do i have to NOT be riding it? Like, on a mountain top or something?
I had the same problem. Try just using the essence of light on the bat horse on the ground. and make sure your not on it
I did verythiing it showed step by step and it didnt work. I really like this mod becuase animal are my favorite!!!! please can simebody help me? i have never downloaded a mod before bu ti did the instructions all right/
why does my scorpion attacks everything it sees???
i know that dr zhark knows about this after his brake it will be fixed unless with this fix he is planning to retexture some mobs and add some new ones it might take a while
Any way to feed/heal scorpions? I read the wiki but only found how to tame them. Also can you add tamable/Mountable spiders(Tame them during day); And make feeding/taming item something like Egg + 4 string surrounding it makes bound chicken. Also would be cool if pet spiders would make webs when idle in there habitats that you leave them at.
Scorpion heal by giving then rats by hand cooked or raw works...

I just noticed I haven't seen a single crocodile in weeks, probably when I installed that mod... (Turned their spawn up in the config, too...)
The changelog mentions it way back in 4.1, and I've seen some other threads elsewhere noting compatibility issues with Mo'Creatures not spawning in on new biomes but those were all many versions ago...
I'm in jungles, I see turtles all over, but no crocs. =/
Edit: An upgrade to ExtraBiomesXL 3.8.0 seems to have restored the crocs. Then I quickly got killed by a buggy croc "death roll." All I wanted was soe Croc armor.
So, I have 4 different fish eggs, but when I put them in water, they don't hatch. I have an egg in my hand, I'm standing in the water, then I right click to "throw" the egg. it sinks and just sits there. It doesn't "jump / bounce" like something is trying to get out like I've seen in videos. I'm running Mo'Creatures 4.2.2 for Minecraft 1.4.5.
Seems to give me black screen, I intalled correctly so there must be a conflict of some sort.
EDIT: the most likely conflit is the Player API mods, just want a second opinion. Wouldn't want to remove them.

I install the forge, the gui, and the custommobspawner mods, and tested them all out. But when it comes to the mo creatures my minecraft just crashes. What's going on.
hey i seem to be haveing mob spawn problems when ever i install it i start getting likes crap loads of sheep and wolfs and a few other mobs and then some other like pigs and cows never spawn some one please tell me whats up and how to fix it
also i have messed wiht the spawn rates and all the other options but nothing seems to work
