Forge logs? Also I went ahead and converter from Magic Launcher to MCPatcher and manually installed a few mods (Forge, OptiFine+Shaders, and Mo'Creatures). Whenever I use Sphanx for Mo' Creatures the letters are distorted, could that be the issue? I'm also getting a crash report so I'll throw that in as well with pics of the difference.

Also I apologize for the late replies, I don't check the forums as often as they're updated.
You cannot install optifine with MCpatcher. The way that it patches the game will have very high conflicts with optifine.
with magic launcher, I just replaced the old versions with the new version. (with just a few clicks)
the lag when Golems occured was so bad the game was unplayble and then crashed Minecraft.
I rolled back to the previous version and everything is great again..
I've gotten the same error with every version of EBXL I've tried, even 3.5.0b. I can't seem to figure out why, only that I get the error when Mo'Creatures and EBXL are combined. Even on a clean minecraft folder with only Mo'Creatures installed, it runs fine. But add EBXL into the mix and thats the error I get. What Forge version are you using?
It might be that I'm on a mac, or that I use MultiMC, as well. I don't have a PC I can further test on, so I wouldn't know if that is indeed the cause of the error. I know that at first I had trouble installing Mo'Creatures on its own because of the way Macs compress their files. But I just don't know how to fix this error on my own, which is why I've posted it here. ):
I have forge, and for the forge (latest) I am having to install everything into the .jar with winrar, (not into a mods folder).
That said, everything works fine:
Optifine, Death Chest, Recipe Book, Rei's Minimap, More Stackables, GUI Api, Too Many Items
But it totally does't recognize CustomMobSpawner or MoCreatures either as a winrar file in the 'mobs' folder or installed directly into the minecraft.jar I get a black screen.
Should I delete the new FORGE meta-inf?
The files with the ending .info or .java - is that a problem?
I have windows 7 64 bit
I get no error messages, just a black screen.
Very disappointed, to me MoCreatures IS Minecraft.
Err.. re-read what I said, I said I switched to MCPatcher BUT I manually installed the mods listed in parentheses, which includes OptiFIne.
I looked closer at your crash report. I have my CustomMobSpawner in the instMods folder for my MultiMC instance - it won't throw silly errors this way. In addition, I'm using version 1.9.0, where yours shows 1.9.1. Since your error seems to arise from a call to CustomMobSpawner, I'd give that a try.
Just wanted to drop in and express my opinion about the new golems.
I think they are a very inventive and interesting concept. However, I personally find them way to destructive. Half the blocks they suck from the landscape drop to the ground as items and decay, they create horrible terrain degradation. There needs to be some trade-off. Either make the terrain they steal heal over-time or put in a way to control how much they destroy. To me all this mob adds is cleanup. I had a small test cobble structure off to the side in my test world because I was testing IC2 and Greg's out (haven't used it much) and the golems had it completely destroyed in one night...with a setting of 1 in the spawn. Cobble is a building material and is used heavily. Just six of these golems could cause days of rebuilding. And I concede for some that might be fun, but not everyone finds it thus.
There are tons of mobs that could/can be added that would provide something interesting to kill. Orcs(tribal-many types..mages,spear-chuckers-axe users), Trolls(regeneration-likes to spawn under wood blocks..IE: Structures and Bridges), Undead Dragons(and Dragons), Elementals(Fire, Water, Air, Earth), Winged Vipers(Snakes with wings), Basilisks(Lizardlike-paralyzing stare), Lizardmen(like orcs but drop hides and not as advanced), Kobolds(Annoying, small, hit and run tactics, social), Gremlins (Thieves, Crafty, Cowards) and so much more it would take hours of typing to even hit on a small portion. (Just open a AD&D Monster Compendium). All I am saying is, perhaps we could have a bit less of the kill your world and more of the lets kill Steve? Please don't get me wrong. I have the utmost respect for Mo's Creatures and all the work that has been poured into it, and this is not intended as anything bad. I humbly ask for your forgiveness if I have offended or otherwise overstepped any boundaries in stating how I feel. It was not intended in a harmful or hurtful manner.
Also, I used the spawn egg to spawn like 8 in one spot to see how far down they would 'consume'. I would have placed more but it crashed at 8. Here is the crash log.
Will have to turn on peaceful to be able to log back in I think. It crashes the minute I get in the world.
Hehe
Thank you kindly for hearing me out.
