im using biomes o plenty and all the biomes of this mod are in the spawner list of mo creatures. but not even a cow spawns in any biome of biomes o plenty. and i have never seen a mo creatures mob in a BoP biome.. what am i doing wrong? Bop biomes are all in the list "MOBS" and all of the creatures of mo creatures schould spawn in "MOBS" biomes.
I can play singleplayer but only when i join my server it doesnt work. I put my config in the server config but it doesnt work, too.
Nothing spawn on the world and i have no ideas anymore
Here a list of mods which i use:
Try deleting the config for MoC in your client. Let it regenerate. Couldn't hurt to do it server side too if doing just the client doesn't work.
Somewhere the config's aren't quite matching up and allowing them to regenerate new should solve your issue.
OR, there is a good chance that your other mods are using those ID's that your server is using for something else ingame. If just deleting the MoC configs dont' work, try it for all your mods as well.

Looks like you need to update your video card drivers.
Problem is I can't... ._. Or at least everywhere I looked on the internet people told me I couldn't. Apparently Intel doesn't make updates for the video card driver I have, since it's old...
Are you throwing the egg on the ground like you would discard any other item, because this will not work. you need to hold the egg and click as though you were placing a block.

What video card do you have, perhaps I will be able to help in finding you a newer driver for it. ^.^
Sure thing, I wasn't sure how the egg's were being placed when you said you were having issues. And since I hadn't had any issues getting any eggs to hatch at all since I started to use the mod, I figured I'd bring up this information on a just-in-case.
Glad I was able to help, enjoy your Wyvern!
Is this mod compatible with 'Biomes O Plenty'. Because when in use the New mobs do not spawn in the new biomes. Doing some research, there was a method using 'Mob Spawn Controls' there must be a simpler way using the custom mob spawner menu to accomplish this? Thanks
If you open up the menu for MoC ingame it provides you with the list of mobs (broken down into categories kinda) where it will list which biomes the mobs will spawn. If you know exactly what the BoP biomes are called you can do it from in the game.
If you do not know what the exact names of the biomes it might be easier on you and much less of a headache to do it all manually in the config files found in /.Minecraft folder.
MoC should detect the biomes on it's own, but I suppose it doesn't always place the biomes into the lists of mobs for spawning. I didn't have any issues just installing and get right into playing myself, but it has happened to others that they've needed to set it up to do so. If you installed BoP after MoC, and don't want to go through the hassle of going through each and every mob and assigning the biomes yourself, you could try deleting the config for MoC and letting it regenerate on next game launch. It should then populate I would think with the new biomes listed in MoC's creatures. This is just a guess though, so don't hold me to it.

When i try to do lan worlds and my friends join an error comes up saying ID 702, ID 703, ID 700, ID 201, ID 200, ID 202 from Mod MoCreatures is missing. I can play single player fine but lan worlds don't work. Please help!

Have everyone having the issue delete their config files for MoC, this should fix the issue.

I'm having a problem with this mod and Mutant Creatures. No matter what I do with the settings I keep getting lots of mutant creatures spawning everywhere. I have to play in peaceful mode all the time or I risk running into like 3 mutant creepers right outside my door. Has anyone else had this issue?

Colorless green dreams sleep furiously. The greatest thing you'll ever learn, is just to love and be loved in return.
Can you choose which mobs specifically you want to have. I don't need any fantasy creatures, and I am creating a server set in the northern reaches of Canada and Alaska, so is it possible to choose which creatures I want to have based on those criteria?

You can pick and choose which creatures you want by turning off the spawn settings for the other mobs. You can also decide which biomes these spawn in by setting up the config file.
Normally I would go into exactly the driver you needed, but I'd need more information about your computer to do so. Since I don't know your operating system or what bit it happens to be and all that nifty jargen....
Here's a site that appears to have drivers for what you have. If you're unsure how to navigate it, inbox me your DxDiag information and I will try my best to find the update you should have.

Aside from this having a misspelling.. I wonder if the (I) I've highlighted in blue there means you've got more than one configuration? This could cause problems if you have duplicates. If you don't have doubles and I'm just losing my mind.... I really have no idea what I'm talking about.... I'd need more information that just this to help you out. I'm afraid this clip doesn't bode well with my brain. XD
I could tell you more from a log similar to what the client spits out but as far as this goes... I'm afraid I'm no help.
Sorry.

If you're able to get MoC to work with Mutant Creatures, that's a good start. There must be a way to lower the settings of Mutant C though... Not sure if MoC picks up on the creatures and adds them to it's config file or not but I'd look there to start with, otherwise it must have it's own configuration you can look into.
I would guess that you could edit these from ingame like you can with MoC, or atleast that would make the most sense to me. Otherwise you'll have to go right into the files and look in your /Minecraft folder.

This mod lags BADLY on 1.5.2; I disabled 90 percent of the creatures, disabled all of my other mods, and had optifine installed, and used it to disable about half of Minecraft's graphical effects. I tried going into my task manager and focusing all data on Minecraft, AND I put my laptop's power on high performance. I turned off Aero on my computer (I have Windows 7), and I even tried putting some of my other programs and files on an external harddrive to increase my data storage.
I tried everything I could for smooth gameplay and after all that work, the game STILL only gave out 9 FPS at most; the lag spikes rendered my game virtually unplayable.
I'm not trying to hate on your mod or ruin its reputaiton. I love the mod; Mo'Creatures is one of the most amazing mods I can name for Minecraft, but the lag is BAD. I hope it gets fixed soon. I actually kind of miss having it. :/
Since this isn't allowed to be added to mod packs, I wanted to add it myself to the FTB pack. Now I download the latest 1.4.7 port and add it to the pack. When I try to launch it re-downloads the minecraft 1.4.6 jar and makes it so I can't play. I have used the mod in the pack before, but I had to update it. Anyone know a fix?
Im so new and so noobish I dont even know how to download it. Don't worry I'll understand new enough. Im not new to Minecraft. Just forums and mods and textures packs. <3

one the first page of this forum is a link to the download. Click that and download all the required other mods to run it. Once you have those downloaded and saved to your computer, locate your /Minecraft folder... Usually it's hidden so you might have to do a little digging. If you have a hard time finding it there is link from the launcher Minecraft has when you start the game...
Finding /Minecraft without digging:
Launch the Minecraft Launcher
Do NOT press Login, instead press Options
There will be a link on a little window that opens up, click that and it will open /minecraft for you
Installing This Mod:
Open up the Bin folder found in the folder that opened up for you.
Locate Minecraft.Jar and open with WinZip or a similar zip file program, delete Meta-INF
In another folder window open up the Forge.zip file and drag and drop the files into the Minecraft.jar zip file you previously opened in step 4. Do NOT delete the new Meta-INF that appears Close Minecraft and Forge zip folders
If it will not let you drag directly from Forge.zip into the Minecraft.zip, drag those files to your desktop before dragging them into the Minecraft.zip. Sometimes it won't let you move from one zip file to another.
Locate your save of GuiAPI and drag it into the coremods folder located in /minecraft where you found the Bin folder. (Not found in the Bin folder where you found minecraft.jar)
Proceed to locate your Mods folder, also found directly in your /minecraft folder where you found both Bin and Coremods.
Drag and drop the Zip files of Mo' Creatures and Custom Mob Spawner. Do NOT unzip these files.
Restart your Minecraft launcher and you should be good to go. If you followed these steps you should have no troubles running this mod at all.
If you find that these steps are too hard to understand or you'd prefer not to edit any of the Minecraft files directly, I suggest getting a launcher for Minecraft called Magic Launcher. It's what I use and I can better explain how to install this mod on it than any other launcher.
