It's because the horse textures are of a non standard size, 260x260 instead of 256x256. You will need to re-size the textures for the horses in the Mo' Creatures mod to the proper size, and then it will work just fine.
Thanks SO MUCH! Only one thing how do I resize. (I'm not a comp noob just wondering how to get to the resizing.)
1.) Horses - When I dismount a horse, walk away to work on my house, garden etc, I come back and see about 15+ "clones" of that horse standing in the same spot. They are animated but I cannot interact with them.. The real horse usually shows up on the side somewhere. Re-logging when I'm standing nearby usually makes the clones go away, and then it usually happens again.
2.) Mob frequency - Vanilla - Setting endermen to 0, still spawns endermen (I actually had some spawning at my tiny island every night with it at 0) Same with other mobs. Not sure if this is what is meant by "Partially changed" in the known bug list or not, thought I'd post it just in case.
3.) Mob frequency - Mo' Creatures - even after increasing the max animals in the options, and waiting a day or two, I don't seem to notice any of the frequencies change. I could have birds or butterflies up at 10, and never see a bird, I could have other animals set at 1 or 2 and see several of them... I have zebra chance at 1, yet zebra's are the most common horse I find...
4.) Mob spawning/despawning - After losing a lot of vanilla sheep and cows I was trying to save up, I disabled the despawning of vanilla animals... However disabling that option, there have been absolutely 0 of the mo' creatures spawning... I check the log, and it is constantly saying 0 have been spawned... I increased the max animals up to 250 even, and yet never saw a creature show up... I'm worried if i enable vanilla despawning again, I will lose the colored sheep I caged up for colored wool...
5.) Once in awhile, I may come across an "invisible" mob, this rarely happens most the time I see them... however once in awhile I begin to get attacked by an invisible bear, or become poisoned in the water by something I cannot see or killed by an invisible big cat..... However I'm not entirely sure this is only mo' creatures, as I've had this issue with some vanilla mobs such as spiders... It's very rare but does happen.

Mmm, I just fired up a new 1.4.2 instance with Mo' C 4.1.3 and CMs 1.7.1 and ran to the Nether. Still no mobs spawning other than zombie pigmen?
Also, only checked with the Polar Bears since they were in the area, but you might've derped something when tweaking the Pandas- the Polar Bears would sit down and literally slide on their butts when moving around. Mighty amusing!
EDIT: Just checked out the new Werewolf models. WHOA! Amazing!
Not sure if people already said this and I wouldn't say this is a bug but there is a problem with the hitbox. When I hit a werewolf, I can only hit it on the legs.
You might not see this or be too busy, but i suggest going and seeing the TAU in texture discussion for some mobs, they do awesome textures (nope not piad, just proud)

And then it closes. What version should I have to make Mo creatures and IC2 work?

Perhaps your nether was already populated with zombie pigmen, for best results turn 'modify vanilla spawns on' and decrease the zombie pigmen spawn frequency. I've tested and it works

there is no toggle for the witches or bats in vanilla mobs, i'm not sure these are spawning either. i tried looking around for three minecraft days and found none. i'm also having very few mobs spawn at night, vanilla or otherwise...
Heya, I'm having problems getting this mod to work on Windows 7. Here are the following versions of the files used:
Forge 6.0.1.355
GuiAPI 0.14.8-1.4.2
MoCreatures Mod 4.1.2
CustomMobSpawner 1.7
Every time I create a new world and try load in the game crashes. Some times I actually get to see the world for a split second and then it crashes. Other times it just says "Shutting Down Internal Server" and then generates a crash report. This is in a fresh install of minecraft as I haven't used it before on this new PC.
Other things to note, my minecraft directory didnt have a mods folder, so I made one. The mods are recognized according to the game when I get to the main menu. I can play with all the spawn frequencies and such. Also, I noticed that I had a minecraft.jar and also a minecraft.1.4.2.jar . Does this make a difference? I also noticed that the minecraft.jar does not initially have a META-INF folder in it, only the other file named minecraft.1.4.2.jar does.
I'm at a loss as to why it won't load. I haven't touched anything else or any mods. Help would be appreciated. For what it's worth I also have the latest version of Java. After having the problems I checked the Java site and even updated. If you need anymore info, let me know.

im using forge 6.0.1.349, and custommobspawner 1.7.1, using windows 7, that might help you out, i have also had problems trying to use a newer version of forge... its all good tho, 'cause most of the mods i like run fine on 6.0.1.349
DrZhark should have a fix for this either tonight or tomorrow...
BTW: If you need 2D/3D art for this mod I can help.

Perhaps your nether was already populated with zombie pigmen, for best results turn 'modify vanilla spawns on' and decrease the zombie pigmen spawn frequency. I've tested and it works
