This just in: I was toying with the new 1.6 update and found a way to enable the Sky Dimension world generation code to the surface world as a test: needs Minecraft Beta 1.6.6 singleplayer wr.class. Install as usual (add to minecraft.jar, delete META_INF/MOJANG_C.*). Have fun. I hope Notch won't be mad :S Generate a new world.
I updated a bunch of Kodaichi mods for 1.6.6, they can be found on my new Kodaichi revival thread. Two More Insects, Fairy Mod, Succubus, Neko Cat Mobs, Brain-Eating Pink Slimes, Whirlwinds, Rana Mob, Fully Controllable Pig Mounts, Spider Families, Charlotte.
I have not read the replies to this thread in months, and I have disable PMs a while ago. There is an active IRC channel for Minecraft modding at #Risucraft at Esper.net (Mibbit link). If there is something urgent you have to tell me, your best chance to reach me is to go there.
I will not be continuing Spawnlist, as the same functionality is included in ModLoader now (AddSpawn, RemoveSpawn).
means mods work for Minecraft 1.6.6 Singleplayer, means they don't.
You use my mods at your own risk. I provide no guarantee of them working. If my mods corrupt your saves, I consider it a failure on your part not to do regular backups.
As with any other mod, unless explicitly stated otherwise, you preserve the folder structure in my mod archives when you put the files into your minecraft.jar.
If you get a black screen upon starting Minecraft, you are doing something wrong.
If you refuse to include the crash report when you get crashes, I refuse to help you.
If your clearly ignore the instructions in this post, I will ignore you.
Source code to all my mods is included in the downloads. Just decompile the class files. No point in asking for the java files, as they look precisely the same as what you'd get if you decompiled my mods.
DO NOT ASK ME to post a minecraft.jar with the mods already included. That could get me banned from here.
DO NOT PM ME asking for help with the mods. INSTEAD, read through the replies of this thread, starting with the most recent ones. It is very likely your question has already been answered.
No, my mods won't work with SMP. I don't do SMP, so I can't develop for it. Feel free to make the mods work with it, though.

1) Open up %appdata%, if you don't know how to do this, start>run, then type in %appdata%
2) Browse to .minecraft/bin
3) Open up minecraft.jar with WinRAR or 7zip.
4) Drag and drop the necessary files into the jar.
5) Delete the META-INF folder in the jar.
6) Run Minecraft, enjoy!
1) Go to Applications>Utilities and open terminal.
2) Type in the following, line by line:
jar xf ~/Library/Application\ Support/minecraft/bin/minecraft.jar
3) Outside of terminal, copy the class files into the mctmp directory.
4) Back inside terminal, type in the following:
jar uf ~/Library/Application\ Support/minecraft/bin/minecraft.jar ./
rm -rf mctmp
5) Run Minecraft, enjoy!
New in 1.6.6: Multiple grapples at once: Each grapple you craft is unique, with separate modes remembered when you reload. You can have multiple hooks in the world, though you can only pull on one at a time. Hooks have a colored number rendered over them to distinguish them, which is also displayed in the lower left screen corner (can be disabled in options screen). Uses: Keep multiple mobs on leash; quickly switch between two points to grapple to by taking another grapple in hand; keep a grapple as a safety rope while targetting the next point with another. This features uses the new extended item data code that came with maps. More on mcmodcenter.
At some points we need to make a combo with all the modifications that make the game "better" withouth modifing the gameplay much. Mods of things that could have been made by Notch itself, and name that mob "Community Service Pack" or just "Community Mod". For once, the fix for SMP servers and viewdistance, repair tools, More Stackables... these sound like "realistic" and would made for a good "Community Service Pack #1". But.. I am not asking for it, since I am not a user of such thing.
Make a topic and with a poll that has all the current mods in existence. I preaty much already do this with my MineCraft, (has to be redone to add mods, sometimes). So it would be a fairly quick proceedure as long as I know which mods to use. (I run a custom texture pack, pretty much every mod, minimap, HD texture fix, AND AutoMap)
In order to find out which incompatibilities there are between mods, I downloaded CreeperDaReeper's One Stop Mod Shop AllMods.7z and ran a script to find .class file conflicts. Here is the list (excluding my merged mods):
RMcD94, glad to see it's working for you. I did not test it myself because I have a fairly low-end computer (I usually get ~14fps, never more); Minecraft takes ages to load and I have to close all other applications.
could you merge gotta ride'em all and scroll the sky?
because my game crashes when two of my hoverboats crash.
I'll look into it. However, HoverBoat and Gotta Ride 'em All don't conflict as far as I know, so I doubt this will fix that crash. Maybe report the crash and any information you get from Java to the author of HoverBoat?
EDIT: Merged Gotta Ride 'em All & Scroll The Sky. See original post. To make it work:
[*:2c9l5v2z]Install Gotta Ride 'em All as per their instructions
[*:2c9l5v2z]Add my kh.class to the desired minecraft.jar. Scroll The Sky is fully contained in kh.class
