A torrential storm at sea has nearly destroyed your ship, but you miraculously wake up unscathed the following morning. You exit onto the public docks of a mysterious valley named Dunminveng, teeming with monsters. Lingering are the remnants of a lost people, nearly destroyed 100 years ago by a terrible evil they call "The Doom". They have been expecting you, and it is your destiny to vanquish this ancient evil. Can you find the sacred Vorpal Sword, the fabled Bow of Piercing, and the shimmering Creator's Armour to slay The Master Architect and his hoard of hellish beasts?

Filled with legendary items of amazing power, clever mechanisms & interactive regions, and a lush, descriptive history that enriches the experience, "The Realm of Dunminveng" is a meticulously detailed map with 5 Boss Battles. It incorporates elements from CTM, Adventure, Puzzle, Survival and Boss Battle genres. The castle was built following bilateral symmetry.
I was thinking of doing a superficial 2.1 update. The structure of the map will remain the same, but perhaps there could be an æsthetic reprise of some buildings/terrain, etc.
Any feedback at all [on the look of the map, or any bugs] is, of course, deeply appreciated.
As part of the upcoming 2.1 update, I'm giving players the opportunity to have their own design in one of the residential houses in the map. See this link for more details on this cool project:
AND the map has gotten over 150 more downloads in the past two days alone... really, really happy it's getting more exposure lately. Thanks to you all for giving it a shot.
As I said, most of it is æsthetic in nature, but I added a new introduction to it to add a bit of suspense. I'm trying to give a little love to all the main areas.
Expect a lot of nice changes to the castle, though.
Hey - this is an awesome map - a little confused on where to put treasures and trouphies at the Courtyard - lots of books, but nothing about that! We are having a great time playing this. Just the right amount of puzzle, adventure, boss battles, etc.
Great game! We've almost beaten it but we're a little stuck and need some help to finish up. We found 2 villager eggs together in a chest but the game is requiring 3 villagers to repopulate. Any hint about where we can get the third villager? Thanks for all the hours of fun!
The two villager eggs are the "keys" to access a room containing a chest with several stacks of spawn eggs. The room is located in the same area you find the diamond armour. The Ultimate Easter Egg should lead you there. Can't reveal much more!
Wow.

Could you possibly spare a hint as to where the "gills" are?
Since you asked so nicely, the "gills" are given to you once you obtain the Ultimate Easter Egg. Start your search at the castle's master bedroom.
Alrighty! Thank you!

This is amazing! I'm making a similar map myself, and this extremely inspiring. The builds are AMAZING, and I like the custom mobs and lore.
In all, I would give this map a 10 out of 10.
Please check out my PvP map based around explosions and fire, FireFight!
Sometimes, I wonder why they call mapmakers mapmakers and not cartographers.

Thanks for the kind words, guys.
Just crossed the 2k downloads threshold because you're all awesome. Keep being awesome.
2.1 update is coming along well so far.

Thanks GrayOne. Good to know the Trophy Square's signs aren't evident to all. I'll make it clearer in my next update.
EDIT: Moved the signs to the front of each frame section.

Additionally, do you think a walkthrough should be uploaded?
THE 2.1 UPDATE HAS BEEN RELEASED AND IT'S BIG
LOTS of new features! Listed here:
Added new rooms to castle!
Added more detailed roofs to town structures!
Added windows and spires to castle!
Dynamited cliff face to make it look more textured!
Added lots of special effects and banners to secret areas/rooms!
Hid a bunch of ugly redstone circuitry for a cleaner experience!
Prettied the castle by adding exterior fountains, walkways, gardens, and flags!
Expanded nearly all rooms in castle!
Added horse track around castle, and hitching posts around town!
Added a CRAZY intro sequence, and improved the outro to the map! It's SICK.
Improved the Transit Railway to act as a subway system [functional stops and pretty window views]!
Added the King's Plateau for an extra special outro if you beat the map!
And most importantly: LOTS of bug fixes! The map is 100% playable, to my knowledge. Many playthroughs were had.
SO EXCITED for you guys to try the map. It's a piece of work. Let me know what you think should be added in the next update!
