I ran into the same problem as ProfessorXu where after lighting all 9 lamps, the secret passage is revealed, but I cannot pass through it.
I am playing in 1.7.4 and have finished every room up until the mirror room and I am now stuck. My only option seems to be to replace the files in a creative world with those of the code III so I can break the blocks to get through.

hmh, that shouldn't be happening. You can also use open to lan and enable cheats to get creative mode. That way you don't have to edit the nbt data manually. Could you send your current world to me. (when the bug is happening) that way I might be able to fix it.
It seems like the falling sand is becoming solid and blocking off the path. Is there something that normally stops the sand from landing and becoming a solid block? The open to LAN option allowed me to get through to continue playing. Maybe this issue is related to the hopper issue other people were having.

oh I see, there was a ladder that is supposed to prevent the sand from becoming solid. So you probably broke the ladder.
HOLY CRAP! I just finished playing this map, an seriously, this is unarguably the best map I have ever played. The amount of dedication and intelligence you had to have had to create this is insane. All of the puzzles were ingenious, every thing was original, the transitions were flawless, every aspect of this map is a 10/10 in my opinion. Seriously, great freaking job, another amazing map from the mind of you.

Just decided to replay this map again, and I think I found a eater egg:
At the very start of the game, Instead of throwing in the paper, I explored the hallway, and I found that door 30 opens when standing in front of it. Inside there was a dropper with paper and "35792" appeared in chat. Is this a easter egg?
Also, Is there any significance to the names of the jump potions: "8" and "_" and the fact that there is a "who" book within the map as well as at the credits?
That paper with 35792 is there just in case you lose your other paper for whatever reason, it's kind of an easter egg but not really.
the jump potion is called 8 because in the first Code puzzle 8 is called "Jump". The _ potion is called _ because that was the closest I could get to a potion without a name as far as I can remember.

Me too. Getting through the wall is hard. Can you tell me how you did the wall thing. So that I could fix it?
Just finished the Code II for the third time, I mean, it's such amazing and fun to play. The TPs are smooth and everything works fine.
Would it be possible in some way to play the Code III in 1.8 or in any other version with a mod that makes the TPs smoother?

Unfortunately you can't play the Code III in 1.8 because I used some bugs that are fixed in 1.7.5 and later, you can ask isteinvids to update his mod to 1.8. But other than that I don't think there's a way to play with smooth teleportations :/
Hey JesperTheEnd, I like your maps, and I would like to do maps by my own, but I need to know how do the arguments work, I mean, like, being teleported at a specified place or something. Also I want to know if it could work in 1.8, because this map in 1.8 does not work at all.

You can find a lot of information on the minecraft wiki. Here's a list of super useful wiki pages. I made a video about the teleportations which you can find in the spoiler, but it doesn't really cover the commands, but more the general idea of when you need to teleport a player to where.

It is not the official the code IV but it's a fan made one. I played it and it was pretty funny.
You should ask the original creator to check wether it's playable in 1.8.4 but I think it is.
I started my playthrough of this map. Had such a wonderful time playing the first Code map, and it did really well for my channel.
