Time. The C ending isn't bad, though - thanks for playing!
Yeah... I lost a lot of time because I couldn't find out how to get into the study. It turned out that I had unintentionally turned the piston on with the lever for the lamp in the room.
Version 1.1 Released!
-Revised the 'Boss Battle' to be more exciting and less anticlimactic (there's a danger element to it now...)
-Added a secret ending for finding all 100 investigation points.
-Fixed helmet textures.
-Removed floor indicator system, as it was acting buggy (it kept spamming the floor you were on).
-Removed a few hopper clocks to reduce lag.
Rating Summary
Complex navigation, intricate story, rich visuals. Guide the main character through a very strange house, filled with the momentos and memories of his family back through 2 generations. I don't believe I've ever played a map with such a broad story told in this exact manner; 3 tiers of notes that can technically be read in any order and still provide the story background, AND clues as to where you can/should go next. You will spend the majority of your time navigating hallways, rooms, and secret passages that are rich in color and texture. And interspersed are a number of unique logic puzzles. At every stage in the map, I felt like something was going to jump out at me. Yet it was not overly filled with 'blood', 'severed heads' or other typical scare tactics. There are also multiple endings, that I did not see coming, and an optional scavenger hunt that is significantly more challenging than it seemed while playing (I thought I was doing well, but only found 43/100). My only concern is that it might not be LP-friendly due to all of the reading and not much action - keeping the characters straight can be a bit tough if you aren't paying attention. But for someone looking for a more psychological suspense map - I would definitely check this out!
That was a fun map looking good in the area of coldfusion. And it seemed like the suspense slowly built up to the point where you had to run into the dark rooms looking for the light switch hoping nothing will pop out at you. Thanks for the map it was great.

Okay, the map was fun. Super fun. The build-up was well done and the ending...okay the ending was kinda pulled put of nowhere. It also leaves a few loose threads. For example, didn't the family go cuckoo earlier? Why did they suddenly start talking like sane people again? Also the final reveal was kinda comical when I really thought about it.

Thanks for the feedback! I've been trying to improve the ending as much as possible, any suggestions?
Erm... HI! So far, I'm really liking this map! There are innovative puzzles and there's a cool story. I'm kind of having trouble, though. I found the place with the fake coins in the Master Bedroom, but now I'm bamboozled. I can't tell where to go next. I have four coins, by the way. All the other rooms are locked. Am I missing something obvious? Also, just out of curiosity, where do you find the shovel for the Greenhouse Puzzle? I used the process of elimination for that one. You can expect my full thoughts after I finish the map. Thank you, and good bye.

For the coin room, toss the four coins on the small pedestals to advance.
The shovel may be found in the greenhouse itself, though it isn't really needed after that puzzle.
Also, if you get lost again, I added a floor map to the OP. It's right above the map trailer.
I got an E ending... guess I spent to much time hunting for investigation points. Oh well... family < points
All in all, very well-designed map! Loved the clockwork puzzle- I think it was my favorite of the challenges in the map. The end boss fight was kind of... easy... and silly.

For all the time spent searching... I only got 55 out of the 100. They're very well hidden.
