Soccer is the most popular sport in the world. Minecraft is one of the most popular games in the world. It would seem like there should be a way to play soccer in minecraft. There isn't, until now. We have created a map that requires no buggy mods, laggy servers, or poorly designed texture packs. The Soccer! map simulates a soccer game in real life, but in the wonderful world of minecraft!
Scale 1:1 ratio from official soccer field
Incredible stadium with unbelievable ambiance
Working 5 minute timer with NO lag (computer friendly)
Automatic scoring recognition with working scoreboard
Custom system of hitting the ball multiple different distances
Coach/substitution area with working water dispensers
Custom locker rooms for each team and ref
Custom uniforms for each team and ref
Yellow and red cards for ref
Covered by Skydoesminecraft, HuskyMUDKIPZ, Deadlox, and Slamacow!
To install the map to your minecraft client, you can follow these steps, or watch the video.
Download the map from the link at the bottom of the post.
Open the file and find the file folder named Soccer! inside.
Type %appdata% into the start menu and open .minecraft, or go into minecraft, open the texture pack folder in-game, and go up one level.
Open up the saves folder and you will see all of your currnet worlds.
Drag the Soccer! folder into the saves folder.

You may not have command blocks enabled if you are on a server which would break the team joining function. You might have broken a block or redstone or something that may have broken the start timer when you went out to look at the redstone if you did. I hope this helped and please reply in you have any more questions, comments, or concerns!
