I think I may have found a bug / hidden feature. In the room with the two beacons (main core, and the other one) it is possible to knock yourself up to the stone slab railing using the punch bow, and just run along that to the end.

Ooh, thank you I hadn't even considered that. Might have to make some invisible blocks and put them up there!
My pleasure. I'll wait a bit more before going through it again, though. Can't play it too many times in quick succession!
I'd suggest waiting 'til I finish the Office Blocks stuff! Spent the day working on my CTM map for a change of pace, which was certainly good for me
If I have the free time, I'll be devising some puzzles for the last few areas and finishing them up. Then I decide if I just want to end it or go on from there
New patch coming up either later today or tomorrow!
Changelist:
-Updated some early visuals
-A few small bugfixes, not much to see here
-Adding Office Blocks F and G
-Adding the Special Office Block
-Several new books further explaining the story behind Dayralt Industries
-Two new books giving backstory to Dayralt himself, and another book looking into the catastrophe that starts the map
-Access to the next area of the map
From here, the next patch may or may not have this, depending on how much time I have to do this:
Way too tough map for me. I got the Blazes, and they let me out through the green wool ok. But I shouldn't be there, and I didn't know where to go. Then I saw the sprint run. Couldn't do that, way to old and slow. The nasuea was a total mystery to me, I had to cheat just to get to the plates for door two, (but I got me a fish in the process). And there I was overspawned by zombies, had no idea where to go, and felt really sick. I know way too little about how the "new" Minecraft works, to really enjoy and get through theese puzzles.
But the overall feeling is more or less like it was in the first episode of MacGyver. There's also the feeling that you have to be smart like MacGyver in order to get through. Dumb people like me shall not play this map.
I'll see if I can get any further, but for now, I lost interest.
Hmm, do you have an older version? I patched out the Nausea awhile ago Unless you just mean the hunger
That's an interesting description though, and I rather like it. I was rather aiming for Myst crossed with some sort of action game, but very puzzling, while making use of new and old features.
Anyway, thank you very much either way for the response. If you get past the puzzles in the core area, there's a good old water puzzle you might enjoy
As for the patch, it's going to be a bit delayed. I was in the hospital last night, so I'm really just working as I can. I've got the puzzles for Block F and G done though, and will continue working until I can release more.
Went ahead and put out the next, and possibly final beta patch for now, before I get a 'final release' out, as with my plans.
The updates are pretty much as above:
-Updated some early visuals -A few small bugfixes, not much to see here -Added Office Blocks F and G, as well as the Laboratory Tower -Added the Special Teleport -Several new books further explaining the story behind Dayralt Industries -Two new books giving backstory to Dayralt himself, and another book looking into the catastrophe that starts the map, as well as setting up the final arc of the story -Access to the next area of the map, which is not yet built -A few hidden shoutouts to those who gave some valuable feedback early on
-Added a Minecart puzzle, you'll know it when you see it. If you finish it, please let me know your thoughts on it, it might be a bit rough. Same deal with the Block F puzzle - I want some feedback on how it works.
Just updating pictures and a bit of a thread. Not a bunch new. Working hard on the new and possibly final area though! Thank you to the nameless 7 who have downloaded the new beta
Hate to post without too much of an update, but I'm currently running through the map a ton to find bugs. If anyone that has download has any feedback at all about the current beta copy, be it bugs, things you liked, things you didn't like, and things you don't understand, it would be extremely helpful for me!
Thanks to the other 7 downloaders, bringing the count to 14 testers on the current version, and 106 downloads so far
While I'm not downloading this again this version (still as confused as ever with the older one) I would say that this map does deserve some type of bump of which i can provide.

Thanks very much - it's very appreciated
I'm considering writing up a walkthrough for each of the puzzles, though significant hints are hidden all throughout each of the puzzle areas
Ok, cool, that might help... Alot... Did you ever get around to fixing the arrow knock? (over the rails)
I didn't, but that'll be addressed in my current bug sweep. I'm actually going to pull the punch off bow, as they already have a knockback on them already.
During my tests, I've found a number of little bugs I really need to address, so expect those to be fixed soon-ish. Everything up to the Office Blocks section, with the exception of the Ocelot puzzle, seems to be mostly bug free. I'll be changing the Ocelots, and putting the Aquatic Sheep back in though, as well as adjusting the finnicky pistons at the start.
From there, I just need to fix my oversights with the Office Blocks B, C, D, and E and everything should be okay.
Walkthrough will be put on the thread at that point as well.

Haha I'll likely just find some snarky way to stop that from happening... That or remove the Punch from the bow
Geechan: Pro Stalker/CTM Veteran
Please do, I'm dying for some feedback on it
-Fixed a bunch of early bugs that I missed - won't bother going into them
Thanks for over 100 downloads
