I've created a Doctor Who themed custom adventure map with the use of Command Blocks. You and new companion Oswin can take a trip through time and space, fighting space pirates and visiting an alien planet. It's a fun little adventure, and I hope you'll like it. If you do, feel free to leave me some feedback.

I think I messed up the redstone on that part, I seem to remember a lot of unnecesary wiring hanging around. I'll make a V1.1 tomorrow. Thanks for the nice comments on the map, glad you enjoyed it
My one and only issue with the map was an annoying text that spammed the chat - "Ship Near! Dock Via Airlock" - although it was probably something i did.
I fixed it up in V1.1, thanks for letting me know. Also, glad you liked it and thank you for the kind words!
In version 1.1, you start in creative mode. Just thought to say. And the cheats make it easy to....erm....cheat.
Also, it seemed a bit short, but still quite good. Ironically, I was watching Doctor Who half-screen with your map

I've got V1.2 out now in adventure mode, so that should fix that. Thanks for the nice comments.I've got V1.2 out now in adventure mode, so that should fix that. Thanks for the nice comments.

Don't know what's wrong. I switched up the pressure plate in V1.2, maybe that'll work?
Well, I have to admit, that was cool. I've actually been looking for a Doctor Who themed adventure map using the new command blocks.
There were a few problems with it, like the ability to trap yourself very easily, lack of mood, cheats, and unfinished areas (or just un-polished), but I think it's a step in the right direction for map-making. Overall it was enjoyable but it could have been much better.
It has to be payed in the newest snapshot. There is a command block under there that teleports you to another ship. Sadly the map maker did not put that in the description.
I did put that in the description and in the comments

Could you give me some specific feedback so I can improve it? Like where the mood could have been better, and what areas you thought were unpolished?
Okay, here's an in-depth review of all locations. (Spoilers!)
I really liked the Tardis. That has to be the best minecraft version I've seen. However, the library thing above it confused me, and I never did use the lever.
After leaving the Tardis and boarding the ship, if you go to the room on the left there are two spacecraft you can get stuck in very easily. Also, on Level 1, when boarding the pirate ship, it's very easy to fall off the black wool and get stuck there, especially since you're teleported facing the drop as you walk off. Overall, I really liked detail put into the ship.
On the pirate ship, the elevator has visible redstone which I think detracts from the experience a little. The detail on this ship was excellent as well.
However... the Xenon Moon wasn't very good. Sorry. It looks less like a moon, more of a redstone testing flatland. It was a little hard to find the book, because I wandered off and didn't notice it. The cliff faces around the crater should be a little steeper; maybe the crater should go into the ground more. I also like the ship escape, but the lever for the FTL drive was already pressed down when I got there which I thought was a little odd. If it was powered, why wasn't the ship blasting off to space before I arrived?
As you reach the pirate captain, the message "Challenge: Fight the Pirates take the Pirate Captain's Head back to the TARDIS!" doesn't sound very much like the Doctor -- could you imagine him saying that? I killed the pirates anyway, but nothing happened. I like the escape pods.
Throughout the map, there was a little too much running. I know that's all that the Doctor seems to do sometimes, but there should have been at least one thing that the player should have had to stay in one place for. Otherwise, it seems just like a 'walk through this pretty scenery' type of map. Maybe a puzzle of some sort? Also, you might want to do /gamerule commandBlockOutput false, so that you don't hear all the teleport messages going off.
Anyway, great map. I'm not trying to put it down with my criticisms, but it could be an even greater map. I hope you take a few of my suggestions .

The library place was just a little decoration with some sonic screwdrivers on the wall, noing to do there.
I will fix the areas you can get stuck in, thanks for notifying me.
The redstone on the pirate ship doesn do anything, I used it more to show that the pirates don't have proper technology. Do you think I should remove it?
I had limited options for the moon, but I'll be open to suggestions on how to make it look more like a moon.
How did you miss the book? I tried to make it so that you had to find the book to get to the town. What could I do to make it more direct?
I might try to work on the crater and cliff faces. In the mean time, is there anything else that would make it more believeable?
I'll fix the FTL drive lever, good to know.
As it is an adventure map, I meant the Challenge not to come from the doctor but to indicate to the player what to do. I'll fix that area up a little and put the pirate captain head in a chest.
What kind of thing should I put in for the player to stand around at? The map is really meant to be more exploration based, butnI would be open to including such a thing if you have a good idea.
I'll add that in to keep out the teleport messages, glad I finally know how
Sorry for the huge amount of questions, but I really appreciate the response and would love to make the map even better. Thank you very much
You might want to remove the redstone. Visible redstone usually distracts from adventure maps unless it's part of a puzzle.
As for the moon, try adding bunches of craters and trenches, and some height variation. Also do something with the random stone steps you have lying around the crash site.
I missed the book at first because I jumped over the walls which looked like they were meant to be jumped over. I had no idea there was a path; make it impossible to jump out.
You should add a puzzle where you need to start an engine, or a generator. Maybe a puzzle to open a complex door. Or maybe a little parkour jumping?
