Map is pretty awesome but I just end up not being able to get another ender pearl and even if I do for what ever reason I cant see the beacons anyone know how i can fix that?
After playing this I realized how long it's been since I last kept up with anything Minecraft related >_>
So I had some questions after playing. I looked around and answered a few, like renaming tools with anvil(which isn't in my creative inventory for some reason), using commands with command blocks, beams of lights with beacons. But I couldn't figure out how to do something like teleport a player when day comes around, unless you can somehow tie it into a command block. And I believe not breaking blocks and no creeper block damage comes from adventure mode, but haven't tried it yet. And I haven't tried customizing what villagers trade, but is that also done through adventure mode?

Lot of it is done with a mix of Command blocks and MCedit. There are filters to customize Villager trades and such. Not being able to break blocks is from Adventure mode
Whenever i try to switch to my regular, non snapshot jar, I get this:

I played the map 3 times in multiplayer, and then had a peek behind the scenes.
Visual Detail - 4. Gorgeous
Creativity - 3. I love a map centered on a clever concept and mechanism. Unfortunately, there's only one trick in this treat.
Experience - 2. There are nice references built in via signs, but the story doesn't really have an end (other than being vaporized by the sun). This is purely a combat map. I don't take points off for story in survival, but the experience plays out like this; start with leather armor and a stone sword, fight unending mobs in near pitch darkness, your gear breaks before you have any hope of buying an upgrade, die.
Challenge - 1. Too hard. There's no point. I'm sorry. It's intended to be hard, but this is a little extreme. There's FUN hard, like KotS2, and then there is frustrating hard.
Progression - 1. You are immediately confronted with a mix of mobs with no hope to gear up. Vendor prices are too high commensurate with the effort to get to them. After flying around for 30 minutes, the best 'hidden' gear we could find was a chest with only 3 leather - why bother?! And, elite mobs that have cool weapons have a miniscule chance of dropping them... broken, with only a few hits of durability left on them.
We actually did fight our way to the beacon and attempted to reach the top via ender pearl ONCE, but it was pretty hopeless. I'm sure someone out there likes a map where you are fighting endless mobs with your fist, but I just don't get it. I STRONGLY feel that the gorgeous build assets should be taken and re-used in another map.
Okay, I want to give it a try, but my machine right now is doomed and doesn't run Java - so I want to play this map as soon as I get a new machine. Still, I have a doubt: Even now, much after the included snapshot features are set on the current minecraft versions, do we still need to change the .jar file in order to play? If so, can anyone tell me why?
there was issues with the language file not working properly, it has been removed for the time being

Also, I fully support:
Good job guy that made this!
